Getting into looking up mate?

I love camping out under the stars it's amazing, thought about getting a telescope a few times it would be great to look at some of the things up there magnified.

yeah Mars and Venus are almost always visible with the naked eye.

Loved the Sky At Night show when the games master did it, got me interested in looking up.

There's a big astronomy centre at Keele University where they've invested in a multi-million telescope. The BBC show Stargazing was up here recently with Brian Cox and Dara O'Briain hosting the show. It's free for guests to go visit so I really need to go and see what it's all about. Would be a great experience!

I got a Telescope a few years ago.

Ended up selling it on ebay about a year ago.

It was never quiet good enough..

Used a big Telescope in the Sinai Desert and that was good but the ones u get at home are pretty useless.

I got a good sized home one for a couple hundred dollars a year or so ago..... showed the kids Saturn and my daughter said "Wow! it really does have rings? I though they just added them to make it look cool"

But I'm out in the country with no city lights close by so I get an awesome view :ok:
