Just want to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Not sure of the Chairman will be online this side of the festivities so I'll step in and wish the whole CM 01/02 community a peaceful time and we'll see you back here after (or during!) the big day!

Feel free to add your wishes below.

I worked there when I was at uni, on the tills in WHSmith!

02-12-14, 01:10 PM
All sorted here, thank God! Apart from three more deliveries to arrive this week including a birthday present for my brother (which is Christmas day!).

I'm actually usually a lot better at organising presents for Christmas, starting in October and finishing in November just to make sure that all my spare cash in December is used on the festivities themselves. Plus I also have two family weddings to attend over Christmas too.

02-12-14, 07:53 PM
I don't even know where to start with my Christmas shopping!

02-12-14, 09:44 PM
Bet you haven't used that Myrrh up from the other year, just regift it.

What to buy a girl who has everything? Ideas welcome please gentlemen!!!!!!!!

03-12-14, 02:38 AM
Chastity belt?
Pre nup?
Another girl for the night to see if she really loves you?

That pimpin flat on Bondi you promised her when you win the lottery?! :)

03-12-14, 04:44 AM
When I say she has everything a girl could ever want (i am referring to myself) ha ha

Pre nup sounds the best out the lot tho, cheers Redders

03-12-14, 02:44 PM
Buy something sweet and romantic, and something naughty and sexy.
Then, on Christmas morning, guess what sort of mood she's in and give her one of the above.

When it turns out you were wrong about her mood, give her the sweet and romantic thing to make amends.

She had a moment of clarity and came crawling back, did she?

Jewelry always works..... :ok:

03-12-14, 07:44 PM
1) Diamonds
2) Chocolate

Or both.

Of course. Didn't have to get on my knees once!

Cheers for the advice Bob

Yeh don't u like foot massages? /)

05-12-14, 09:07 AM
I think Bev is showing his age i.e. sub 30. Once 30 comes, foot massages and the likes are the business :D

Looking forward to Xmas this year. Will have the chefs hat on cooking for both sides of the family as they descend on the house to visit the new arrival.

05-12-14, 09:47 AM
Hope that goes well then, Dermo! Wouldn't like to be doing the cooking on Christmas Day!

05-12-14, 10:22 AM
Indeed Dermo - good luck

Hell of an effort cooking for a wedge of people - hope you don't miss out on the mornings festivities whilst you are looking after your spuds and parsnip!

05-12-14, 01:04 PM
The key is to do all the prep Xmas Eve half cut :ok: a great excuse to drink hot brandy and port all day

And set a load of reminders on your phone.

09:30 - put on the turkey
10:15 - savage a selection box
10:30 - can of cider #2 (no need for a reminder for can #1)
11:00 - repeat 10:30
12:00 - get the ham on (half cooked on Xmas Eve)
13:00 - parboil roast potatoes
13:15 - put roast potatoes in the oven
13:30 - get the turkey out
13:45 - get ould Ray to carve it
14:00 - fire everything onto plates
14:01 - let the mothers do it since 'they know best'
15:00 - since you were cooking everyone else cleans up and are not your army of goofers for the day
15:30 - easy game

05-12-14, 01:25 PM
Sounds like a plan, Derm! Did you write all that or copy and paste it?! Haha!

05-12-14, 01:49 PM
Ive cooked both Xmas and Easter dinners for last 2 years, seasoned pro these days :D

Ould Ray indeed my ould lad so nope, no copying and pasting

07-12-14, 06:59 PM
