Harry Bow and Harry Bow backup.

Especially after the problems I've had previously.

Bummer losing that save though mate.
System restore is the best I can suggest as well.

Down Glary Utilities and use the file recovery software that comes free with it. Filter by .sav, select, restore and voila, save is alive again

    Can't load game

Hi Guys! It's my first post, i've registered because i have a problem and i'm helpless...

I saved my game as always, but when I try to load it back, game crashes. When I click on informations about save game, it shows me information: "could not find information about save game". I've been searching the net, this forum and i still haven't found solution. On facebook they told me, that here i find a solution. You guys are my last hope...

Have you tried some of the suggestions in this thread on Save Games - http://www.champman0102.co.uk/showth...e-Game-Queries

Yes, somebody has the same problem. No solution. Probably file has some errors and it's impossible to fix it.

If you posted more information maybe it may be easier to help, some screenshots maybe?

Go to start menu, in the search box type ".sav"

if your save is there check the location, if its not in the correct location ie: your CM folder then move it there and try again

Hi everyone, I'm Adam and have just started playing CM 01/02 on my laptop again for the first time in a little while!! I'm doing really well with Nuneaton, I'm top of div 3 and have only lost once in 21 games!

However.... When I went to load the game this morning, there was nothing in the restore game option. I play the game in compatability mode and I read about how it might be in 'compatability files', but it wasn't - it was in the usual folder that saved games are kept. I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem or could help me solve this!

    Thanks guys, appreciate all advice!!

Saved games by default go in to the CM0102 root folder, ie, C:\Program Files\Championship Manager 01-02 (unless you installed the game elsewhere).
