The Lead Masks Case was the name given to the events which led to the death of two Brazilian electronic technicians: Manoel Pereira da Cruz and Miguel José Viana. Their bodies were discovered on August 20, 1966.
The bodies were next to each other, slightly covered by grass. They were wearing suits, lead masks and water-proof coats. There was no sign of violence to the bodies or to the surrounding area. Next to the bodies, the police found an empty bottle of water and a packet containing two towels.
Police found a small notebook stating:
"16:30 be at the agreed place. 18:30 swallow capsules, after effect protect metals wait for mask signal".

I think the feet are from a human smuggling ship that sank... apparently because of the weak ankle and wrist joints, bodies that decompose in water often lose their hands and feet first

The Solway Firth Spaceman (also known as the Solway Spaceman and the Cumberland Spaceman) refers to a photograph taken by Jim Templeton in 1964 at Burgh Marsh, situated near Burgh by Sands and overlooking the Solway Firth in Cumbria, England. Templeton claims the photograph shows a background figure wearing a space suit and insists that he did not see anyone present when the photograph was taken.

    Oh the hypocrisy

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1953_Ir..._d%27%C3%A9tat

British and US backed a coup d'etat to knock over the democratically elected government of Iran because they nationalized the oil supply of the country. After which the US and Britain backed the brutal dictatorship of the Shah, who amassed a terrible human rights record, and who ruled until the Iranian revolution of 1979 when Ayatollah Al-Khomeini came to power.

Some tall structures and skyscrapers have been proposed that have not yet been built, and may never be, in some cases because construction hasn't begun, or it did but was never completed, and the plans have subsequently been abandoned.
