Been playing it on my ipad for ages now. It's easy, fast and surprisingly effective. Just use teamviewer.
Anyway of playing it on the Nexus 7?
I've had an iPad for a few months now and not even thought to attempt to play CM on it
I'll download teamviewer and give it a go! Hopefully it works OK
Setup teamviewer on home PC and install teamviewer on iPad/Android/Windows Phone.
You can play that way quite easily (but remember to put your desktop/Laptop on Always On Power Setting so it doesn't go to sleep/hibernate ).
I also recommend setting unattended access.
I have used it before, I just never even thought of giving it a go Can't wait to try it tonight. I practically go to sleep every night on the iPad so if it works OK, I'll never sleep again
Haha, I played CM like that from work (and Diablo 2), mostly for testing purposes xD.
But funny. Mostly used it if I wanted to Download something and couldn't do it from work network (due to firewall).
It's good soft to have, that's for sure ^^.
I'm intersted in getting an Asus Transformer T100 or an iPad if this game can be installed and played on it. Just wondering if anyone has tried it?
The Asus T100 runs full Windows 8.1 but has Atom processors rather than 'i' processors so wondered whether that would make a difference?
Would this be possible on an iPad through some sort of emulator maybe?
I imagine it would work on the Asus, no idea about iPad though. I think there are Windows emulators, so it might be possible, but don't quote me on that.
I play on my ipad using team viewer. Tricky tho!
The problem with Team Viewer is that you still need an active network connection on your iPad and in turn, the remote machine must be turned on at all times. It can be done but it is indeed tricky. I have done it myself, logging into my laptop and while it is still playable, there is sometimes a delayed response to your touch.
It seems to be the only way to play on an iPad, I'm afraid.
There is CM15 which is free to download from the App Store though.
Well, with Dosbox Turbo you can play CM 97/98.
I'm guessing that it's not possible but has anyone installed CM on a windows tablet or Android even....pretty sure certainly won't work on android?.
Let me know if you have and how?? Much appreciated guys
I'd think your best bet would be a Windows 8.1 tablet (not Windows RT!). Don't know how touch-friendly the user interface is, though..
I like the looks of Surface Pro 3, perhaps I'll pick one up one day and give it a try. Over at SI forums I saw someone confirm he had installed FM15 on the Surface Pro 3, so at least that is an option.
Surface pro is awful in my opinion
how can i get this game running on an ipad?
Teamviewer + running game on PC (also with Teamviewer running) .
The easiest way.
would like to run it away from home
So I would guess, impossible due to architecture differences (ARM vs x86). On Surface Pro you wouldn't have such issues though.
And yeah, you can use it away from home, just need internet connection all the time as you can't install the game directly onto iPad.
What is the running speed like on tablets? is it playable? I got a guide to run it via dosbox a while back but never did it.
Newbie here! A quick and simple question for you, can I download this and play the game on an iPhone 6? Memory shouldn't be a problem but how to do it is my problem, if possible!
Any help would be much appreciated guys.
I daresay that playing the game on a smartphone is impossible? The size of the screen would be a major hindrance.
