I'd rather stick with cm 01 02 (original + forum updates)
Depends how much would it cost!?
What I mean, if Edios, for some reason, decides to update CM 01 02, and makes CM 13-14 edition, with everything the same like in CM 01 02, except, it edits Champions League, Europa League and add all other competitions, like u21 championships and adds more leagues...
Would you buy it?
I know I would :adoration:
Let's make petition for them to do so xD
Absolutely. Who wouldn't
I would buy it. The OP described the greatest game ever: CM 01/02 updated to with today's competition formats and updated rosters.
I would probably even pay for DLC with updated rosters every 6 months or so.
As Mark said "who wouldn't"
But it would make this site redundant, would it not
I wouldn't. Sorry, this format of game is quite outdated and it's not only about CL/EL missing right format.
And to OP there is already such game: FM Handheld. Plus Eidos has nothing to do with Championship Manager at all. It was always Sports Interactive who made the series. Eidos now owns only naming rights. That's all (their latest CM games were a crying shame, made by Beautiful Game Studios).
Only hope for people right now is SI making FM Classic playable with larger DBs, more than 4 selectable countries, etc. This has huge potential... And it's quite a speed demon compared to full FM game (1 season in 2-3 days on normal FM compared to 3-4 in a day on FMC).
Wondering how this will go in future.
Before you point fingers at me or start to insult me, that is my opinion. You may not like it, but grind your teeth before you post response.
No, because, quite frankly, the match engine of CM0102 is horrible. Aside from changing names, formats etc., they'd have to patch the ME heavily in order to be decent enough, i.e. not being able to exploit the hell out of it even when you're not trying to.
Read latest post by churky and didn't even need to read his post to know what he was saying.
No-Brainer for me. Of course I'd buy the game
I definitely would, if it was done right, so everything in the game (team and player data, competition formats, transfer windows, etc) was fully up-to-date, all the various bugs and programming glitches were ironed out and the aforementioned exploitations in the match engine were fixed.
I'd buy it, but whether or not I'd like it. I don't know. Churky makes a good point that the match engine is very easy to exploit and I would like to see some 'glitches' fixed beforehand.
That's like saying would you shag your childhood sweetheart 10 years on & her body was still as pert as back in the day Course you would, just this time you would come all over her face & boobs
Im with info0 - FMH is the closest thing we can get! Although would definitely buy if was made available!
Simple answer, yes I'd buy it.
Jesus, you are not the only 1 to have risen again, that is BRIAN!!!!!!!!!1
Definitely - the new footie manager games are too in depth (if that makes sense). And you probably need to check/action about 109 things before progressing a day!
No my Lord, I find it funny. Now don't start turning into that cunt Dodge & getting all hollier than tho.
FM Classic does look intriguing though. Still not perfect yet.
Info0 and Churky the only ones to choose no, no surprise there then
Funny thing is, there are obviously lying. Of course they would buy it, out of curiosity more than anything
I didn't vote.
I wouldn't buy it, but I'd probably download it via torrents.
