How much was that ref bought for last night?

UEFA must have a mandate that refs are completely useless and biased when Spain's big 2 play in the CL

He is. All the pantomime bullshit with referee's takes from it though

Good to see Leicester go down fighting, just needed to be more clinical in front of net otherwise they'd be through.

Hoping Juve don't fall apart as PSG did against Barcelona tonight!

People will be bitching about Real - Bayern game now. Yet, last week when PSG was robbed by Barca no-one complained?

Furthermore, in both legs, Bayern was not a better team. In 2nd leg, Robben for his diving theatrics should have been given yellow and no penalty to Bayern whatsoever. Then we have 0-0 still and all to play for.

Casemiro should have been sent off, along with Vidal (much earlier). CR7 first extra time goal was indeed offside, but 2nd wasn't if we take rule book into consideration (but Sergio Ramos own goal was hilarious, considering that Lewandowski was offside in active play, thus offside should have been called ).

Referee mistakes are part of the game. If Bayern wanted the game to go to penalties, they were punished for the thought.

Now let's see if Barca gets helped to tonight. Juventus is no PSG and they can defend, so I wonder how many theatrical flops we see from Barcelona players tonight .

How Casemiro stayed on the field is beyond me!

Wouldn't it be great to just be praising the football instead of the referees/UEFA ruining the games.

It's nearly impossible to look at a game on it's merits as nearly every one is ruined by some cock up or other.

I can't even fathom how hard it is to ref/watch the line on a game though

Carragher and Neville did a recent programme with Prem League refs and amazing the job the do given no video assistance

It's nuts. A linesman needs to look at the ball, the defence and the attackers at the same time and then pick out when any of them have moved.

    Real Madrid - Atletico Madrid
    AS Monaco - Juventus

Think be can all bury the ideas of Real Madrid always getting the easiest drawing now. Over two games I hold Real and Juventus as favorites here.

Atletico v Monaco it is then. Time to break the monopoly the so called big clubs hold.

Real and their attack v Atletico and their defence, Same with Monaco's attack v Juve defence.

Hopefully be two entertaining semi finals.

    Pretty special performance

Seems with slightly slowing down he's more involved in the team play. Which given his talent is leading to more chances for him. He'll hardly rue not being more involved in team play in later career but if he keeps this up as he ages a bit more it could be a case of 'what could have been'

    Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldo!

Good for him, but sad that we will have Real Madrid again in the final... I was rooting for Monaco vs Atletico... I know I was against the odds but Real vs Juve seems more like it.

I don't like either team but one more for Ronaldo or the first to Buffon... at least there will be some positive things out of it.

Still... I would love for Monaco to win it.

Solid stuff from Juve last night. They are so machine like about what they do but not in a boring sense. The balance of the side couldn't be any better.

A bit sad that both ties seems to be already settled...
Atletico were disapointing while Real Madrid played it close to perfect... Ronaldo surely steals the headlines but huge credits should go to their midfield... Masterclass by Kroos and Modric... now that Pirlo has moved on I cannot get enough of watching Modric dictate play
The Juve defensive stats speaks for themselves... just perfectly executed and composed away-game tactics... hope they clinch it and Buffon can lift the title...

Would love to see Buffon finally win it too, beggars belief that he has never won the CL!

Real Madrid wrote history today. First team to win CL 2 years in a row.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the man. True leader. 600 goals milestone reached. 2 goals in the final. 12 goals in total this season in CL. 5x consecutive golden boot winner .

And people will still say he is worse than Messi? Seriously? Also he is not criminal like Messi (who has got jail sentence to his name ).

In the Champions League era. Been retained plenty of times prior. By Madrid themselves in fact.
Agree to disagree on Messi v Ronaldo debate.

He turned up when the important games of the season came. Brilliant performance by Real Madrid in this CL spell. That second half shows that they are the best team in the world this season.
