    v3.9.60 Errors & Queries

So I made some changes to the database but it never worked out as I expected and I just want to revert to the original database of the game (01/02), not any updates or anything. Is the only way to do this to reinstall the game? If I do this, will this mean the changes I made in order to get the game working in the first place will be removed and I'll have to do it all over again?

Also, will I lose my current saved game?

    Thanks in advance

If you are playing the original database with the SI Games Patch 3.9.68 you can use this data to revert back to the original game (and changes removed)

    http://www.champman0102.co.uk/downlo...do=file&id=119

If you haven't the SI games patch installed, you can do the same but with this data instead

    http://www.champman0102.co.uk/downlo...?do=file&id=57

It wont effect current save games (adding the patch if you weren't using it before will do so alright)

Did you over write the old files or just put the whole folder into the data folder

I did make that mistake initially, but then done it again and done the over write, but no luck. Could I delete the original Data folder, then just copy the new one in its place?

Looks like the overwrite didn't work because it needs admin privileges. Its my laptop and I'm logged in as admin, how do I allow to go through and over write, I don't get a prompt to allow it, it just simply says access denied.

probably means you have something open within the folder like the euro.cfg file or the Editor i.e. one of the files in use

So riddle me this. I completely uninstalled the game, then reinstalled the game, my saved game files were still their, as were the changes I made to the editor! How is that even possible if I did a complete reinstall?!!

Patinoz can advise you on this mate.

It's to do with temporary application data that is stored in hidden folders on your machine. I had a similar issue with multiple installs of cm on my computer. No matter what I did the game would load up in the wrong version and displaying the wrong save games etc. until the German banker advised me on what to do.

Whilst that isn't immediately beneficial I can't remember the folders you have to hoke through to get there, after initially making all hidden folders visible in the control panel.

Hit the chatbox, Pat or someone else will know

    Original DB 3.9.60 on 3.9.65

    Hi,

It is possible to have the game with the patch 3.9.65 but with the original players DB (3.9.60)?
If i copy all the data from 60 to 65, the game will crash in the future, or is ok?

Its because of Tsigalko and Nikiforenko...those 2 were beasts in my save with ODB, but in 3.9.65 i found they have not the same quality...

    Thanks

Should work fine. You can put the older 0102 versions into the 1s above just 3.68 had league structure changes making a backwards way impossible.

Care to elaborate a bit more? What do you want patches to do? You want to keep game on 3.9.60 and use patches for colored attributes, start year etc.? If so I don't know. Maybe try Flex 2 as Tapani 2.xx series require 3.9.68 version of the game.

You can use original DB on 3.968 version of the game though AND use Tapani patches with this. Hope this helps .

Yea i could of elaborated , I mean is there patches that fix issues on the original database and update things , but keep the original players on the game.

I think that is a weak effort of what i mean, but im finding it hard to explain correctly

If you meant Champions League/Europe League formats and getting leagues to how they are in real life, then no. No patch can do that .

    Here is how it goes:

    Install CM0102
    Install 3.9.68 patch from SI
Replace Data folder with original 3.9.60 Data
Apply Tapani 2.19 patch to cm0102.exe

    3.9.68 SI:

    Original 3.9.60 Data:
    http://www.champman0102.co.uk/downlo...?do=file&id=57
    Tapani 2.19:

You will, "probably" need to start new one, to save your original save from getting corrupted . Better be safe than sorry, right?
