Limerick FC have confirmed that 15 players are currently under contract for the 2014 first-team season.
So far in the off-season, Shaun Kelly, Barry Ryan, Barry Sheedy and Rory Gaffney have penned fresh deals with the club while Shane Duggan and Michael Leahy are new faces in manager Stuart Taylor’s squad.
This adds to nine players who were already under contract at the conclusion of the 2013 campaign – Robbie Williams, Danny Galbraith, Craig Curran, Stephen Folan, Shane Cusack, Shane Costelloe, Val Feeney, James McGrath and Darragh Rainsford.

New Airtricity League club, Galway FC, made a little bit of history this week as they completed their first ever club signings. First to sign to the newly formed club on Thursday were former Mervue United players Stephen Walsh and Jason Molloy. On Friday Marc Ludden, Martin Conneely, and Noel Varley signed on for the Tribesman whilst on Saturday, Paul Sinnott joined and was also named club captain.

Bray Wanderers have announced the appointment of Alan Mathews as First Team Manager for the 2014 season.
Longford have bolstered their squad just before pre-season with the announcement that Stephen Rice has signed for the club after his release by Shamrock Rovers
Wexford Youths have announced that they have signed up 17 players ahead of the new First Division season. Many of the players signed for 2014 were also at the club last year but Sean Skelly joins the squad from LSL side Tolka Rovers while striker Danny Furlong returns to the club having endured an unhappy season in the Premier Division with Cork City.
Stephen Last is another player who returns to the Airtricity league. The former Bray Wanderers and Athlone Town centre-back recently played with Firhouse Clover in the Leinster Senior League.
