Just watched the GSP v Hendriks fight from last weekend......... no way GSP won imho........ glad to see it's not only my beloved boxing that has crooked judges

It was not so long ago that Jones and Gustafsson fought for the LHWT . Was highly controversial , many people including me thought the Swede grabbed it.

But in this fight it was evident that Johny Hendricks won , I mean look at their faces

Here's the thing with the GSP fight.... GSP clearly won rounds 3 and 5..... Hendricks clearly won rounds 2 and 4 (and did a shitload of damage to GSP in those rounds).... that leaves it up to who the judges thought won the first round.... and in a championship fight if it's close then you're probably going to lean more towards the champ than the challenger... especially if it's the first round

if you base the decision on who took the most punishment, then GSP is the obvious loser.... but that's not how fights are scored.... I'm a huge GSP fan and I'm torn because round 1 was really close.... but it sure looked like GSP came off worse overall... but since 2 of the judges thought he won the first round then it's a clear explanation of why the fight was 48-47, 48-47, and 47-48.... even the judge who gave the nod to Hendricks had it close

also, if it's true that GSP's dad is on his deathbed and he hadn't slept for two days before the fight then I can understand why he performed the way he did... hopefully we get a rematch soon.... that wasn't the normal GSP performance I'm used to seeing

If GSP wasnt in the right frame of mind to fight he should have fought. you cant go in to the octagon unless you're fully mentally prepared. you're standing 2 feet from someone who trains their whole life to fight trying to knock you out, it cant end well

GSP should take on silva soon, there arent any belts on the line at the moment but they are still the best 2 fighters for the last 10 years and time could be running out to see it happen

Women's football is interesting when it's Canada vs. USA because our women are actually good at it

Yeah, those leg breaks are horrible to watch.

That'll be the end of Silva, legend.

Silva wouldnt be in this position if he hadnt acted like a cocky twat in their first fight. Karma always catches up on you eventually.

There is no better knockout than that one above, Gonzaga vs Cro-Cop

To beat Cro-Cop with a head kick is like jumping on Mario's head to kill him.

Still not my favourite though, search up Scott Smith vs Pete Sell
