Started watching The Sopranos, always something I saw the odd episode of and thought 'I wanna watch it from the start'. Impressed so far.
Really enjoyed The Wire, definitely benefited from having the boxset.
The only time I watch anything week in, week out was Prisonbreak. It would have made a great movie. I didn't bother watching anything after season 1 though...
    Arrested Development. Some great comedy!
Bought the '30 Rock' boxset and 'Deadwood' recently. Heard good stuff about both.
Enjoyed what I say of Boardwalk Empire.
American Shameless isn't as good as the original. William H. Macy is too nice a guy...
    Never got into to Lost.
    Walking Dead is class.

Twin Peaks. Season one is brilliant, second season... well, let's just say Lynch took control...
Used to watch CSI, kinda lost track...
Will look into Fringe and Game of Thrones.

    Me too...

but if you havent seen The Sopranos, stop what you are doing. Go and watch it now.....
I know its 130 hours or so.....
    But get it done..

    Just finishing the Wire..

    Sopranos is better...
    Both genius though.

but Sopranos goes so much deeper into characters...

    Sopranos = excellent
Sons of Anarchy also = excellent... think Sopranos meets the Hells Angels..... great show
Walking Dead, Game of Thrones are also really good

I loved Lost but it was a love it or hate it kind of show... I used to watch Fringe but it kind of drifted away from me after season 2.....never saw the Wire.... Deadwood was decent... Dexter was OK but lost interest.... Spartacus is good messy fun

Watched a tv-show called 'Community' on Demand - whole series. Not bad. Might catch the other two series of it online. Also watched Party Down, which i found more funny due to the fact most of the characters are failed entertainment based people, and have funny personalities. Wished there was a third season, but rumours have it a film is possinle in the future.

The Walking Dead - probably the best TV series i've ever seen, avoided season 2 as im awaiting the blu-ray boxset.

Game of Thrones - my mates been on about this to me the past few months, is it worth renting the boxset?

Walking Dead is excellent.... I was a fan of the comics long before the show was announced and while they have changed a few things, it's still incredible

Game of Thrones is also a very well done adaptation of the books.... watch them all close together though so you don't get lost with all the characters, plots and sub-plots.... I hate having to wait a week between episodes but I've read the series so I know what's going to happen

    Game of thrones.

The only thing on telly I'm watching right now. The books are supposed to be amazing. I don't want to read them though, at least until the series is over.

I watched the first season, then read all the books... so now I'm enjoying the second season much more that I know all the intricate details and what is going to happen in the future

If you liked The Walking Dead, I'd recommend watching The Mist (also directed by Frank Darabont) different subject matter but similar in pacing and engrossing with a shocking ending.

The Mist was OK.... the book was better and had a better ending

And thank God Darabont is gone from the Walking Dead.... the show improved after he left
