Yea that was me. It works well on my phone but sometimes a bit fiddly on the small screen. Tablet would probably be best. I use the Cuprum control set 3.99 to purchase after the trial period. *couple of points though - 1. google keyboard or Swype aren't compatible with it so you have to use the stock keyboard app. 2. It took me ages to figure out how to access the side menus in some of the drop down tabs. You have to hold on the screen and scroll down and then tap it. Eg compare 2 players or assign scouts.

This could be groundbreaking! I've been so concerned about the future of this site given the inevitable phase of tablets/smartphones taking over from PCs (still some time off, admittedly) so this is fantastic news. We've only ever got it to work through remote desktop which still needs wifi and a dedicated PC so to avoid this complication would be fantastic.

    Couldn't get it to work.

The .iso wouldn't copy over as you stated it needs to.
Tried to load anyway and I got cpp479 and cpp131 errors and it closed down.

I think I copied the ISO and also the contents of the CD (but didn't over write the .exe files)

You need v. powerful tablet/phone to run it, as with all emulators... (the guy who made this possible is running it on Nvidia Shield - check the specs for this).

If you want to run it on low-end or mid-range, most popular tablets/phones it might be tricky and not-such-a-great-experience performance wise.

I'm running it on my cheap Chinese Elephone p3000s (has 2gb RAM though which may help) and runs really well

Sorry I can't help with iPad. Don't think it is possible. Unless exagear strategies is released on ios but even then it may not work? I'm afraid you're just going to have to sell it and buy an android one

Got this all running fine on my Google Nexus 7 via Exagear PC emulator. Basically you download the Exagear App from Google Play, stick the entire CM0102 directory in the Exagear one created on your tablet. When you boot up Exagear it'll ask you which .exe file present you want to run. I'm a luddite and I manage this. I'm still experimenting with control methods, but so far so CM0102!!

I moved to 'Cuprum' from 'Helium' and this seems to work better, but I can't get position movement to work in Tactics despite selecting RH mouse-button. Have you solved this one?

Oh. My. God. THIS IS AMAZING. I'm running this on a HTC One M7 and it's silky smooth. What a find!

EDIT: Drag & drop works a dream too. I've also got the tapani patch on my .exe as well as custom fonts and custom colours.

Here's a step by step guide for those who don't understand how to do this.

    1) Install ExaGear Strategies from the Google Play store.

    2) Open the ExaGear app so that it initializes and creates a folder in your root directory.

    3) Connect your phone to your PC via a data cable.

    4) Copy across your Championship Manager 01-02 folder from your Program Files to the ExaGear folder on your phone (I'd advise not copying over your save games as it will take up a lot of space)

    5) Launch ExaGear and select CM0102.exe

    6) Enjoy.

NOTE: unless your .exe is cracked (so you don't require the disk to play) you will have to put the CM0102.iso in the ExaGear folder too.

The ExaGear app acts exactly as a PC emulator. That means you can have all your searches, tactics, trainings and even background pictures on your CM0102 phone version! It even means you can add the tapani patch and anything else you wish, just like you can do on your PC.

No I haven't solved this one. The only way round I can think would be to create the tactic you want on the pc and then drop it into your tactics folder on phone/tablet

Just crack the .exe on your PC and copy it over.

Try copying the contents of the CD across but don't overwrite the .exe files already in there. I had the same problem but worked in the end. I've also got everything in the exagear folder. Eg No champmam subfolder

Hey got it working. I had a champman sub folder and got rid of it. This is amazing.

    Thanks for your help!
