Season 3 - League Two - H - Stevenage - 4:0 (Janis89 x2, loyal_royal1, gazzas1uk)
Barring the last few minutes of the game against Mansfield, the 'fringe' side had played very well indeed to help the Vipers to keep their 15 point gap over Accrington and Southend. Lying in 14th place, Stevenage represent a tougher challenge but The Gaffer continues with the policy of playing those next-in-line to start given that the opposition currently reside in the bottom half of the table.
It doesn't change much in terms of the probable line-up although we will see AJ start at the top following Janis89's performance. Elsewhere, there should be starts for Craig Forrest, Robaldo1, Liam and ZanSnake but will they turn up?
Probable Starting XI
Craig Forrest - samsami - merkezekrem - trunky
ZanSnake - pyromyst - Liam
Bench: Goofy, felixsjo, Kaneman, loyal_royal1, Fodster.
Get the 3 points lads

Next in line?
I now have the better last 5 games average score than my mate, Big Baz.
Honestly...I ask you...pffft...
*Hold on, if I have a better last 5 game score than Baz then he technically is 'Next in Line' and therefore deserves a place in the main team...I'll shut up.*
Next in Line left back ready to play Boss!
Friday I am going to show them again that I can actually tackle!
And my shot on goal, did anybody see that!?!?!
I am going to try that again on Friday as well!
I am full of adrenaline right now!
Here to cheer with a beer.

Here and available if short at right back.
If we are not, I'm a decent right winger as well Gaff!

"I Have Some Pegs Belonging to You".
Im actually on the bench? Sure!
"Erm... Gaffer, we've got a problem." said an injured Redknapp69 after he was the first to look at the team sheet that had been pinned on to the tactics board.
"What?" said The Gaffer.
"Erkifino isn't here... Neither is Goofy!" exclaimed BobMem, also injured for this game.
"YOU'VE GOT TO BE JOKING!!!!" shouted The Gaffer. He then turned around to scan the sheepish faces in the dressing room, counting them as he went along.
"12 players, are you f*****g serious!" screamed The Gaffer, running out of the dressing room to check for any other Viper who may be late for the game. There was nobody to be seen.
"Where the f**k is everybody?!" said the exasperated Vipers manager.
It was an unbelievable scenario. The club that had won promotion from the Conference last season, the club that were currently sitting pretty by a whole 15 points at the top of League Two, a team who were currently on a 12 game unbeaten run had no goalkeeper and only 12 players to choose from. What was he going to do?
In the end, he had to keep it simple. A few player volunteered to go into the sticks and The Gaffer eventually plumped for Baz.
The back four consisted of trunky, felixsjo, merkezekrem and samsami which was actually the line-up that he'd expected to field anyway. That left ebfatz to be the only player on the bench.
The midfield had a very unusual look to it though. Dermotron was asked to play in the defensive midfield role while gazzas1uk pushed up the pitch to play in the heart of midfield. batman and Papalzru lined up in their usual spots on the wing but Janis89 was asked to drop back and play behind AJ.
"Do the best you can lads. Those lazy f*****s have really let us down."
As AJ smashed home the ball with a fine left footed volley, the hearts of the Vipers soared and the players started to wonder, could they really do it? 11 minutes later, Stevenage had their first attempt at goal and levelled the game again. It was hard on Baz who had never played in the sticks before but Stevenage had 4 chances on target and scored them all as they went on to win 4:2. AJ bagged the other goal and did his best to get the club back into the game. The team in general tried their best, managing double the amount of chances that Stevenage had but it wasn't to be. Those that stepped out on the pitch will have every reason to be angry with those who failed to turn up for the game, costing the team their 12 game unbeaten run, suffering only their 3rd defeat of the season.
Shocking turn out for the Vipers. Only 12 players and no goalkeeper. If this is a sign of things to come, then it's not worth the effort to run it.
They had four shots on target and four goals.
Can't blame the midfield or the defence.
Four shots on target, four goals.
I mean, honestly!
A deserved loss which all falls on the heads of those lazy feckers that couldn't be @rsed to turn up
You have people like Bobmem and I fecking busting a gut to get back to fitness and play then you fecking primadonnas do not even turn up for training
Good effort Baz sticking your hand up and I hope that "3" does not count agianst you in any way (could argue the same for the "D" maybe)
A much needed kick up the arse that this league isn't done and dusted if we continue to have the pathetic turn up as per this game
Rant over - let's fecking shape up, TURN UP, and tear a new @rshole to the next opponents!
GUWON the VIPERSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
