Cotonsport travelled away to play out a fairly dull affair with BATE.

We continued our long running record of not being able to score against this side despite having chances, hopefully Victor Valdes will retire soon!

Casteels had a debut to forget in goal and Wilson has joined Onyekuru on the injured list.

The game ended 2-0, and more surprisingly with all 22 players on the pitch!

Moghreb are back on the winning trail...for a while!

Bolivar were the visitors, and cheekily took the lead. Personally, I thought the inevitable was going to happen, but little Franco Brienza rolled up and knocked two goals in for the home team, providing Moghreb with the victory.

Cotonsport travelled away to HJK, somewhat of a bogey team for us.

Cotonsport dominated the game but failed to convert any chances in the first half, possibly due to Callum Wilson being out injured from the previous fixture.
Add to that two early bookings and it seemed like today was not going to be our day.

Gregoire Defrel had different ideas. He supplied the assist for star man Tom Cairney on 53 minutes.
He capped off an impressive debut (Cotonsport's new record £7 million signing) with another assist, this time for Forestieri, 20 minutes later.

The game ended 2-0 to the good, despite numerous chances to increase the lead.

A rather fortuitous win for Pyongyang over Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mamelodi had numerous chances, but Petagna and Malcom's goals gave Pyongyang a 2-0 victory. Donnarumma picked up the man of the match award.

Pyongyang remain 8 points clear at the top and face 2nd place Al Hilal next.

Cotonsport overcame a stubborn Bolivar side 2-0, in front of more than 6,000 fans!

Forestieri scored around the half hour mark assisted by Erokhin.

Despite 19 shots on goal we were finding it hard to beat the Bolivar keeper...
until man of the match Christopher Jullien (CB!) struck a long distance, goal of the season contender (the assist went to Tom Cairney).

    Moghreb catch up -

Away at APOEL - 1 all draw, thanks to Brienza. Tight game.

Quite the opposite v Podgorica! 1 up, then 4-1 up, finished 5-3!
2x from new signing Luis Fabiano. 1x from Lopez, Bailey, & Bensebaini.

A trip to Trencin is usually good for the goal difference, & that proved to be the case today as Moghreb cruised to a 0-5 victory.

Two goals from Leon Bailey set us on the way, & he shared the days goals with new signing Marcos Llorente, Demarai Gray, & Rodrigo Bentancur.

Moghreb picked up an important home win against Ludogorets Razgrad.

Moti was sent off for the visitors in the 19th minute handing the advantage to Moghreb. Inevitably Razgrad took the lead through Mihajlovic. Moghreb equalised thanks to Demarai Gray, & the deserved winner was scored by Leon Bailey, who also collected the MOM award.

Moghreb hosted Deportivo Táchira & frankly gave them a right good thumping, 5-0. Two goals from man of the match Leon Bailey were supported by Bentancur, Ascacibar, & Bensebaini.

Thanks and good luck in the play offs. A battle not so much over who has the best players, but who can rotate them to play 2 games in 3 days.

A dull 0-0 draw for Pyongyang to finish the season.

    Div.4 Play-off

Moghreb dealt with APOEL, 4-2. Two goals from DC Mauricio Lemos, backed up by goals from veteran campaigner Fabiano, & youngster Maxime Lopez. APOEL did have a man sent off at at 2-0.

Unfortunately we had Bensebaini sent off, & Lopez has been suspended for receiving his fifth yellow card.

    Div.4 Play-off Final

Ludogorets Razgrad gained promotion to division 3, defeating Moghreb 2-1. Brienza gave Moghreb the lead in the fourth minute, Razgrad equalised in the 10th minute through Bonatini. The winner came in the 49th minute, scored by Biondini.

To be honest Razgrad were the better team on the day.

    SEASON 4 WEEK 1

CD OLIMPIA took on Real Bamako at home on the first game of the season.

We were the better team throughout and finished up 2-0 winners thanks to my captain Vives and Bez (cant spell his surname) the away team had 0 shots on target. However we lost a man through a red in the 85 minute. Onwards!!!

COTONSPORT start the new season with a new manager - Hornbloweroafc.

They were away to Bolivar and registered a comfortable 2-0 win thanks to C.Julien and star man G.Defrel. Defence had an easy time as the home team didn't even register a shot on target.

Cotonsport manager was delighted with the teams performance!

    Week 2

The new manager made his home debut for COTONSPORT as they registered a 4-2 victory in an exciting match against AL AIN.

Defrel was again the talisman for COTONSPORT with a goal, assist and MOM award.

A pleasing performance gives them 2 wins out of 2. Onwards and upwards!
