Nice to see some of the forgotten names. I remember especially Kerlon and his special dribbling skill. Soccers future is hard to predict I guess...
Champ man have always been pretty good... Tevez, Ibra, Kallstrom and Mike Duff
FC Santa Claus
I love these articles there was one done about the England team in 2016. It was written in 2006 it was hilarious
The opening paragraph is a bit shite, "a bit wide of the mark" - the worlds record signing is in the list! There's a few that didn't show much potential in the end but you'll have that every year. 2 years ago the list would have included Januzaj. Might not make top 250 under 21's at the minute
Overall it's a pretty good list
Still some good shouts in there.
Weird how Fabio is in there but not Rafael, the latter always showed better potential than the former!

Breno - 3 years in prison for burning down his house after he joined Bayern - WTF!
Newcastle have one currently in Henri Saivet.
Can't get a game!
always good seeing how things pan out over time...wonder what this yrs list is like and how many we would thingk would be world beaters in 10 yrs and end up no where!!!
how many of these will be at big clubs in 10 yrs?...how many will be world beaters? Who will fall by the wayside and end up playing Div 3/4 football?
So you'd have to be 24-28 now, right? Who are the top 50 players in that age bracket? Who did they miss? Who came from nowhere?
Kante? Erikson? Aaron Ramsey? Strootman? Daley Blind? matic? busquets? Troy deeney?
Griezmann would be one. You'd also probably put Jerome Boateng in a top 50 in his age group. Back in 2007, James Rodriguez was playing for a shitty team in Colombia and rate him or not, he's at Real Madrid while an injury-destroyed Pato is at Villarreal. That, if anything, shows what's wrong with the way we're doing things in the UK.
Never heard of number one, and I've always been quite a fan of youngsters (although I don't know them all of course).
I loved Bojan when he was 16. Hasn't been up to what we thought he would be, but I hear he has done some decent things at Stoke.
Daniel Opare just joined Lens, in France's second league.
When it comes to the future, as a Marseille fan there are 2 players I'm curious about: Maxime Lopez and Boubacar Kamara. Those 2 have a huge potential, curious to see what will they become.
