Well, I think the original Alphabet Game with the April 2016 Data Update was a huge success Great work to everyone who got involved! Some seemed to find it rather easy so I've decided to stick with the theme but make it even tougher by only allowing you to complete a letter when you've won the top tier title in whatever country you are managing in. Good luck, you'll need it
Data Update: October 2016.
Patch: Tapani Patch 2.21.1.
Start Year: 2015 (2016 does not work yet).
Masked Attributes: Off.
Selected Leagues: ALL league selected (except Wales, so that NPL does not appear in game) but do not select the lower league options. So don't include the English Conference for example and the other leagues that appear in the far right column.
Instructions - Take over MK Dons (who are unmanaged anyway) and then resign from the job. You then need to apply for any/all teams that are unmanaged at the start of the game. These are the teams that will be available to manage:
Eendracht Aalst (Belgium)
White Star (Belgium)
Santa Cruz (Brazil)
Serrano (BA) (Brazil)
Primorac 1929 (Croatia)
MK Dons (England)
Inter Turku (Finland)
Galway Utd (Ireland)
Lurgan Celtic (Northern Ireland)
Aim of the Game
It's a simple one, manage all teams in the alphabet but you are not restricted to going in alphabetical order. Note that it will be the 'short name' of the club that applies to the letter. So for example, Skoda Xanthi's short name is Xanthi so that will be the letter X ticked off, not S. The best way to confirm this is to look at the league table or in the club search filter.
You can use any tactic that you prefer and the aim is to win the top flight league title with one club before moving on to another! There is also nothing to stop you from resigning at a club if it is not working out for you. National teams also do not count!
Join in and post your progress as you go along, let's have some fun
The following is a recorded list of members who have taken on this challenge. I'll keep this updated to see who is 'winning' so far:
14 - kengandhi (Atromitos, Blackburn, Columbus, Dundee Utd, Falkenberg, Galway Utd, Hertha BSC, Linfield, Milan, Nice, Sporting, Tottenham, Urawa Reds, Vegalta)
14 - Kingsley (Ballymena, Corinthians, Dundalk, Flamengo, Groningen, Imotski, Jeonnam, Lanus, Melbourne City, Nice, Panathinaikos, Queen of the South, River, Sao Paulo)
9 - AJ (Anzhi, Benfica, Dortmund, Juventus, Leicester, Newcastle, PS Kemi, SC Freiburg, West Brom)
9 - EL-TOPPO (Anderlecht, Cardiff, Dortmund, Gillingham, Inter Turku, Manchester United, PSG, Stoke, Vasco)
4 - pieriedaczi (HB Koge, Lajeadense, Twente, Vitesse)
3 - Mark (Bohemians, Jeonbuk, Kilmarnock)
2 - JLa (PEC Zwolle, Raith Rovers)
My adventure starts in Scotland with Berwick Rangers even though they weren't one of the teams available to apply at the start of the game! Not a great start, especially as I had my eye on Zelina!
Correct, told you it's a much tougher challenge
Good luck lads - this will be a hell of a slog
I'm just gonna finish the original alphabet game but new update playing with Pool comes first

In some ways, it'll even things out for everyone as it means you've got to work hard to improve your reputation, win the titles to then land you jobs at other teams.
Should also add some attachment to the teams you manage too if you build a club up from nothing to greatness
Sounds a much longer slog, but it would be worthwhile making them top league champions of their country. I'll run this alongside the original haha.
I'll start on this once I'm done with the other one I think, or possibly play a bit on both. Up for another round either way!
Started with Cabinteely (Ireland)
That's even worse than Berwick
First positon: Dumbarton. Not very likely I'll end up ahead of Celtic managing a bunch of part-timers, but let's climb the ladder one step at the time.
i'm gonna do it, step aside!
got Primorac 1929, just as before with the april update, i'll see tomorrow what's to be done.
I'm in.. And for a bit of fun I also ticked the box for non real players.. Beam me up scotty
Got a job a Jaro in Finland. Finished 3rd and missed out on promotion/playoff by a point. Pretty decent squad for the level and only losing 1 player to free transfer (got capped by The Congo u21's now too good for us). Lots of foreigners in the squad - 2 from USA, 1 from Guyana, Mexico, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Senegal.
27 game season should be pretty quick for next season
Looks like we've all had some tough starts. Nice to see Primorac featuring in this one again too, kind of wish I had got the job there instead of being 4 tiers behind in Scotland!
Non-real players, TOPPO? Not bothered about actually playing with the latest data/players then
Mark, you tormentor
