The good: we have increased our stadium capacity to 6000
The bad: this put us 3 million in debt. Most of my squad have left on free transfers. They were crap anyway, I was going to replace them with the 350k transfer budget I had after winning promotion, but due to the debt AND our semi-pro status I can hardly sign anyone. Oh dear. Relegation here we come.

I don't see why not? As long as you use the October data update and a form of Tapani's patch with the job fix included, it should be fine

Pretty easy ride tbh. Although during the final weeks of the season we did our very best to throw it all away with several 1-0 losses to teams that have been pretty average all season. Man City did overtake us for a week but that was down to them playing a game or 2 more. I eventually stabilised the team enough to reclaim top spot.

Clubs/Letters done : Inter Turku, Gillingham.
Excellent work! What year are you in now?

Got the job at OPS in Finnish First Division North. 4 four games to go, 10 points needed to get to a relegation play-off spot so this might end very soon. Couldn't get any other job so I though I might just try it.

Edit: Short stint indeed, took 10 points from the four matches but then MP won some as well so it became impossible.

Seems like a very decent first season. That amount of games always scares me.

Found my first real job, I hope, in Turkey:

Not so surprisingly as my manager is Turkish.

Seems the league splits in 4 games and the playoff spots seem out of reach so that is a pity.

    A done - Anderlecht

Easy as you like and with games to spare.. With a decent squad already it only needed a few minor tweaks. One of those was the free signing of Luuk De Jong who has fired 30 in 29 while CM Felipe Guttierez has a sweet 19 Assists in 29 games.

These are the ones appealing to me the most at the moment..

But I am hoping that Cardiff Job becomes available so may just hold out for the moment. They are midtable in League 1 right now. A poor playing squad, Impatient chairman.. Sounds like my kind of wheeler dealer fun. Fingers crossed. Lots of time till season ends.

Just started this. Ended up in Finland with a roving band of anything-but-football players called the Pema Kings.

Before kicking my first ball in anger, it was good to see that I wasn't the worst manager in the world

I was the worst in Northern Ireland, ranked 38th in a league with just 20 senior sides.

With just 3 players on the books, it was a serious recruitment drive. We were already £150k in debt so the only option was free signings. I must have offered contracts to about 200 players, basically anyone who was interested and had stamina for 90 minutes. Most were wanting laughable wages. Lots could not get work permits despite having 30+ caps. I ended up with about 20, plus 3 on loan.

The plan was to build a bit of reputation before landing a topflight club, with a view to a title bid next year. In fact, Lurgan Celtic did much better, helped by 33 goals in 29 games from unexceptional welsh striker Sam Wilson and 15 goals and 17 assists from dutch winger Donovan Deekman. We won the league with 7 games to spare and were through to the cup semi-final when the offer finally came in.

I had turned down Coleraine who had a worse team and finances that were no better than Lurgan. Instead I'm off to Ballymena United. They have a decent squad, a top wage of £200 pw which is twice what Lurgan can offer and they promise me a small amount for transfers.

For this season, 5 games to play and 12 behind Linfield, I think the title is out of the question, but just 4 points from 3rd place should get a UEFA Cup spot.

I will be suffering a nosebleed if my reputation gets any higher ! (I am now 2nd, behind Michael O'Neil, in Northern Ireland)

After taking the Pemi Kings to their first ever premier title, I WAS the lowest raking manager in the world. Come on you silly game. I resigned and ended up ( yes again!) in Russia, where Anzhi were kins enough to give me a try.

After 14 games my Dumbarton is sitting nicely in 5th, although a good 10 points behind Celtic. I have been appointed manager of the Nigerian National team too, no idea why they opted for the guy ranked at 3000 in the world, but I'm not complaining! My rep flew up to 600 something, so hopefully I can leave Dumbarton in not too long.

    Ha, Cheers!

I'd have been stuck on G for ages if I couldn't get past season 1. No looking back now..... although Falkenbergs is fast becoming a dead end.

I might have made a big mistake by jumping to Ballymena United.

Although we won all 5 league games that remained, and nicked 2nd place from Cliftonville on the last day of the season, I don't have to look far to find my problems

7 of the starting 11 in the last game will be gone over the summer. I'll be left with just 12 players, including 1 left back, who is a decent player, but all of the others hate him ! The back room is a shambles and the “small amount” of transfer budget is actually £4k (yes k, not m). Although the curent wages go upto £500, £200 is the most I can offer, which is exactly what Lurgan could offer. A big summer of begging, steeling and borrowing coming up.
