    Northern Lights

Inspired by Jomus' "My Siberian Challenge" I have decided to start writing a story of my own. It is the first time I have done anything like this and all praise and constructive criticism is welcome.

It's entitled Northern Lights and I'm starting as manager of Kiruna FF in the Swedish Second division.

    Hope you enjoy it.

    Nice start

Would love to follow you to get the Bantam job

Too bad the mighty Windass would be probably retired by then

Will be following on, neither less

Thanks for the feedback guys. Aiming to get chapters out twice weekly, Mondays and Fridays. I have to work so that gets in the way a bit.

Next chapter will be out tomorrow. I manage to hire one of the great Swedish internationals of the last two decades onto my staff, and we play our first five matches of the season.

I think that will be some way off, but I would love to go back there one day. Currently they are not doing too great (There will be an update on that in the next chapter).

Will be a shame Windass is a legend.

Third Chapter (Henrik Larssons Big Toe) is up now. Think it's gonna be easier for me to get them up on Wednesdays and Fridays.

What position is Pål Kristian Antonsen? Looks like could do a job as DMC?

Milk before hot water - what's wrong with that? ll gets mixed up doesn't it

    Roland - what a signing

Forward - great name for a team

    Good signing that striker

Some real mixed results over the course of both updates - seems like you are slowly improving but maybe not getting the rub of the green either. Although mentally the players need to be better

Enjoying the bits in between games of trevalling and staying in hotels for a week etc

    Good stuff!

Antonsen is a left back, and far and away my most talented player. I am definitely looking at retraining him.

Look milk before water is wrong. Reason being as the hot water is cooled to a point where the tea doesn't properly brew.

Are you talking about Butra, he's only managed one goal in nine. Not sure he is coping with the cold!!

Yeah I am trying to think a bit better about my tactics and over the close season will be trying to improving the average determination, bravery and work rate.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated

I have to disagree. Milk first. If you pour the boiling water straight onto the tea then it scalds the tea and the drink has a slightly bitter taste. You need the milk to take the temperature down a couple of degrees.

Sorry still got to disagree. If you are making instant coffee then milk first, but not tea. If your tea tastes bitter you are using the wrong tea. If you are not using Yorkshire Tea you are definitely using the wrong tea!

I am not using ****ing Yorkshire shit Tea. I live in Lancashire and I work for the worlds largest producers of Tea. (Our products also clean 1/3rd of all the loos in the world and I'll make no comment as to whether their tea or their loo cleaner tastes better)

Milk first (although I take it black, with water taken from the kettle 5 minutes after it has boiled)
