I might as well right off this season already.

Shocking start the Villa draw apart.

WTF happened at Ipswich and Newcastle?!

AWFUL start to the season in League

Going great guns in Euorpe though - my hunt for the CL burns strong - maybe we'll need to focus there after such a bad league start. Already 6 points off leaders

Oh aye - we are WELSH

    13h September
    Champions League, Phase 1
    Tottenham 2:0 Real Madrid
    Swansea 2:0 Porto
    FC bayern 1:4 Southampton

Wins for all three English sides on the night as the Champions League group stages gets underway.

    Great stuff Mark.
Just got around to reviewing the save now.
0-0 at home to Norwich. Very even game by the stats... can't believe how impotent the attack is though. Defence made to work hard though. I hate dropping points at home.
    2-0 Leverkeusen. outta the way
3-2 A win away to Fulham. Peppered their goal from all sides. Happy with the win as it looks like it could've very easily been a draw but for a Mkhi goal late on.
    1-1 Benfica. outta the way.
1-0 Left it very late to win this but a deserved win against a former side of mine... not even sure if I managed a game for them. CPU sold Modric but Iheanacho is conspicuous by his absence
5-1 Sparta Prague. outta the way.

Nice to see the CPU put on a title fight through Chelsea. AMC's former team? Hull 2nd with a sold defence with only 2 conceded.
Janis keeping the pace. Dermo getting a nose bleed? Top scorers. Higuian doing the business... damn P-E A...
Trunky with his Villa reserve side tipping but losing to his former team comprehensively.
AJ's best ever start? Swans of old?
Mark beating the odds! Peaceboy struggling to turn draws into wins.
Everton newboy. Good luck. Decent side.
Ebz, persevering with the English EPL task. Fair dues.
MAn City newboy... They were champions once...

Yeah, Chelsea have been managed by moravcik, Ste117 and AMC so far. So a combination of the three have put together a decent-ish side.

I can't see it happening, I think the strength of the managed squads will overtake them eventually. A CPU side has not won since the very first DTL season where Sunderland won it

Dream Team League - Season 11 - October

The Dream Team League seems to be swelling up at the moment which is fantastic news in terms of competition. Two new managers have arrived and both are new faces on the scene too! We welcome rakanj at Everton where he'll be taking over a squad left behind by Fods that had been assembled in the past 10 seasons. Meanwhile, in Manchester, we see a third manager hired at Man City where einsi87 takes over a squad that has been left behind by Jesus and vinjwoods. Welcome!

    1st October
    Premier League
    Derby 2:1 Everton
    Liverpool 1:3 Man Utd
    Norwich 3:1 Middlesbrough
    Swansea 2:0 Arsenal
    Tottenham 1:3 Aston Villa

Janis89 reaches the top of the table thanks to a win at Liverpool during which Pedro recorded his 5th goal of the season. Erkifino also registers a big win for Aston Villa with a Edinson Cavani brace helping him to beat AJ who loses for the first time this season. Elsewhere, Mark loses to Redknapp69 and ebfatz records a win against Middlesbrough. However, rakanj's debut at Everton ends in defeat with peaceboy coming out on top.

    Championship
    AFC Wimbledon 4:1 Brentford

A win for drkshadow1 on a day where Plymouth don't feature sees AFC Wimbledon return to the top, perhaps temporarily though.

    2nd October
    Premier League
    Man City 0:0 Southampton
    Portsmouth 3:2 Chelsea
    West Ham 0:2 Newcastle

CPU managed Chelsea are beaten by Portsmouth which sees trunky level with the former table toppers, only a point behind Janis89. samsami registers a decent win at West Ham to move into 5th thanks to two bizarre 21st minute red cards for West Ham. Meanwhile, einsi87 earns a point in his debut match against Dermotron which moves Man City off the bottom of the table into 18th.

    Championship
    Watford 1:1 Plymouth

A blow for pyromyst as although Welliton registers his 5th strike of the season, Watford equalise late on which denys Plymouth the chance to stay top of the table and instead, they are a point behind AFC Wimbledon.

    5th October
    Premier League
    Arsenal 0:0 Southampton
    Derby 3:0 Newcastle
    Everton 2:0 Ipswich
    Man City 1:0 Chelsea
    Norwich 4:2 Tottenham
    Portmsouth 0:0 Aston Villa
    Swansea 1:1 Hull
    West Ham 1:1 Man Utd

A full programme in the Premier League has yielded some interesting results indeed! First of all, both rakanj and einsi87 have got their first wins under their belts in beating CPU opposition whilst samsami suffers a bad defeat at Derby where Karim Benzema scored one of the goals for peaceboy, his 5th of the season. Dermotron gets a second 0:0 draw against Mark whilst result of the day has to be ebfatz's win over AJ where ex-Spurs striker Jamie Vardy struck a hat-trick! The battle at the top remains tight after three draws involving Portsmouth, Aston Villa, Swansea, Hull and Man Utd! Janis89 remains top by a point.

    15th October
    Premier League
    Aston Villa 3:3 Liverpool
    Everton 2:0 Swansea
    Hull 1:1 Norwich
    Ipswich 0:5 Portsmouth
    Middlesbrough 1:3 Tottenham
    Newcastle 3:0 Fulham
    Southampton 1:2 Man Utd

Gonzalo Higuain scores for Dermotron to make it 13 in 13 but Janis89 comes out with a win to stay top, remaining only a point ahead thanks to trunky's impressive 5:0 win at Ipswich. Newcastle move up to 3rd with samsami's win against bottom of the league Fulham and Hull stay 4th after being held to a draw against ebfatz. AJ ends a winless two game run with victory at Middlesbrough where Andrea Belotti gets a 5th goal of the season but Erkifino only picks up a point after a late Liverpool equaliser leaves Aston Villa 5th. Meanwhile, Swansea are left in 9th place after red cards to Ricardo Rodriguez and Maxime Gonalons contributes to a second win for rakanj with Everton.

    Championship
    AFC Wimbledon 3:0 Watford
    Reading 2:3 Plymouth

Watford held Plymouth to a draw last time out but there were no problems for drkshadow1 who makes sure of victory. pyromyst's side left it late at Reading though with Chico scoring an 89th minute winner to stay a point behind in 2nd.

    16th October
    Premier League
    Man City 3:2 Derby

The chance to make it 3 wins in 3 is lost for peaceboy in a dramatic game in Manchester. Diafra Sakho had scored twice to open his account for the season for einsi87 but Mario Gomez did likewise to tie the game. However, Andrea Ranocchia was given his marching orders in the 89th minute and a minute later, Ilkay Gundogan popped up to win the game for Man City. It means that einsi87 is unbeaten in 3 since taking over and has led Man City from bottom to 15th.

    17th October
    Premier League
    Arsenal 5:1 Crystal Palace

Monday Night Football is a stormer for Mark with victory helped by a 40th minute red card for Crystal Palace's goalkeeper. He did lose a player himself to a red card too as Jaime Baez was sent off in the 82nd minute.

    18th October
    Champions League, Phase 1
    Tottenham 3:0 Lyon
    Dinamo Zagreb 0:4 Swansea
    Club Brugge 0:2 Southampton

Lucas Alario helped AJ to forget about the long-term absence of Alvaro Morata with a hat-trick that puts him on 10 goals in 8 starts. Luis Suarez also scores a hat-trick for Redknapp69 as both Swansea Spurs have now qualified for Phase 2 with 2 games left to play. Dermotron also wins on the night to make it 4 out of 4 in his own group but needs just 1 more point to qualify too.

    Championship
    Nottm Forest 0:4 AFC Wimbledon
    Plymouth 3:1 Birmingham

No trouble for our DTL managers in the Championship with Plymouth now building a 5 point gap over Leeds in 3rd place.

    19th October
    Champions League, Phase 1
    Man Utd 4:0 Red Star
    Sparta Prague 1:2 Aston Villa

Easy wins for Janis89 and Erkifino with the former seeing Sergio Aguero register a hat-trick. Both teams are top of their groups but have yet to qualify.

    Premier League
    Fulham 3:2 Norwich

A simple victory at Craven Cottage is what should have happened for ebfatz but instead, Norwich found themselves 2:0 down after 13 minutes. It's left ebfatz in 11th place instead of potentially climbing up to 5th.

    20th October
Europa League, Third Round, First Leg
    Hull 1:0 Mlada Boleslav
    Man City 4:1 Shamrock Rovers
    Portsmouth 4:0 Midtylland

Easy wins for our three managers in the Europa League who'll be looking to win the competition, although AMC was left feeling nervy when Lucas Leiva was dismissed after just 31 minutes.

    22nd October
    Premier League
    Derby 2:0 Southampton
    Man Utd 2:2 Aston Villa

peaceboy registers a decent win against Dermotron which puts Derby 7th and in front of Southampton. Erkifino has a chance to close the gap on Janis89 but can only draw although dropping 2 points may give others the chance to overtake Man Utd at the top of the table.

    Championship
    AFC Wimbledon 3:2 West Brom
    Preston 0:4 Plymouth

As Plymouth pull Preston apart thanks to a Welliton hat-trick, drkshadow1 is given a run for his money against West Brom who were once managed by Zakkery. A Diego Perotti penalty making it 5 goals for the season helps to keep AFC Wimbledon at the top by a point.

    23rd October
    Premier League
    Crystal Palace 1:4 Everton
    Portsmouth 2:1 Arsenal
    Swansea 5:1 Man City
    Tottenham 2:0 Hull

Yussuf Poulsen's 5th goal for Portsmouth turns out to be the difference as trunky beats Mark to move ahead of Janis89 into 1st place. Swansea hadn't won in 2 league games so a 5:1 with Luis Suarez registering a second successive hat-trick is just what Redknapp69 needed although it came against einsi87 who has lost for the first time as Man City drop to 18th. AJ gets a win over AMC and rakanj makes easy work of Crystal Palace.

    24th October
    Premier League
    Norwich 2:0 Newcastle

Two teams come up against each other who you can never predict their scorelines. This time, ebfatz wins which denys samsami the chance to move into 3rd. Jamie Vardy once again scoring which puts him on 5 for the season and Norwich moves up to 10th.

    25th October
    Champions League, Phase 1
    Man Utd 5:0 Roma
    Leverkusen 1:1 Aston Villa

Zlatan Ibrahimovic moves into double figures with a brace and Sergio Aguero reaches five for the season in a thrashing of Roma which means Man Utd have now qualified for Phase 2. Likewise have Erkifino's Aston Villa despite only a draw with Neymar also on 5 for the season now.

    26th October
    Champions League, Phase 1
    Real Madrid 1:2 Tottenham
    Porto 0:0 Swansea
    Southampton 1:2 FC Bayern

All 3 teams had already qualified so may be forgiven for taking it easy. AJ registers a decent win in Spain and Redknapp69 picks up a point against Porto but Dermotron fails to win thanks largely to a red card to Ramiro Funes Mori in the 32nd minute. Southampton have yet to qualify and must avoid defeat to ensure progression with Ajax and FC Bayern both 3 points behind.

    League Cup, Third Round
    AFC Wimbledon 3:1 Derby
    Arsenal 5:3 Crystal Palace
    Barnsley 0:3 Plymouth
    Everton 3:1 Blackburn
    Hull 3:0 Cardiff
    Man City 2:0 Reading
    Norwich 1:0 Leeds
    Portsmouth 4:1 Brighton

peaceboy becomes the first manager to be eliminated from the League Cup at the hands of drkshadow1 as the other managers progress into the 5th Round.

    29th October
    Premier League
    Derby 2:1 Portsmouth
    Hull 0:0 Aston Villa
    Ipswich 3:5 Tottenham
    Man City 3:1 West Ham
    Newcastle 3:2 Man Utd
    Southampton 2:1 Middlesbrough
    Swansea 3:0 Crystal Palace

Well, things sure are heating up! peaceboy delivers a shock to trunky who is fortunate that Janis89 also loses at the hands of samsami to stay in the top two. AJ's thumping win at Ipswich moves Spurs into 3rd though and just 2 points behind Portsmouth with a game in hand. Swansea also put in an impressive performance to move into 4th but a draw for Erkifino against AMC leaves Aston Villa 7th and Hull 9th. A win for Dermotron also puts Southampton 8th and Man City are also out of the bottom three once more with a win over West Ham.

    Championship
    AFC Wimbledon 2:1 Reading
    Rotherham 1:5 Plymouth

No change to the top two with both teams winning once more. Welliton certainly on fire for pyromyst this month with yet another hat-trick.

    30th October
    Premier League
    Arsenal 1:3 Norwich
    Everton 2:1 Fulham

Mark loses to ebfatz who sees Wayne Rooney score twice to reach 5 for the season. Ante Coric does the same for Everton with rakanj ending his first month with 5 wins in a row since losing his debut fixture.

why why WHY the two losses?? Just like that. Man, DTL can be a fickle bitch sometimes.

But all in all, we're doing quite nicely, mustnt complain too much.

Thx chief! Awesome as ever. And congrats on that graduation

Draws galore in the league for Hull.

Can anything be done about the Euro squads Mark? I noticed my line up for my first two games was very strange with Lucas at left back, Gustavo at CB and Lacazette at CM.

All down to the ass man mate, nothing I can do about it. I guess the CPU picks unbalanced squads when it comes to picking a 25 man squad? Not sure.

Very good month for me. Still have them Plymouth lads right behind me. I would like to get some more distance but they have a very solid team. Also great result knocking Derby out of the cup onwards and upwards
