I finished 6th in the Belgian First Division and entered the Inter-toto Cup the year after. Problem is that my first game was already on the 24th of June. All my players are tired and their condition drops every day. In 2 days I have to play the 2nd round of that cup, but in this condition I won't make it.

What can I do?

Shouldn't have applied for that Mickey Mouse cup anyway! :ok:

Hahaha, well I didn't really apply for it. I was just dropped in after finishing 6th. It was my first year after promoting from 2nd division, so if it takes that Mickey Mouse Cup for me to get into Europe as a promovendus, I'll take it. :)

Put all of your players in 'No training' so they won't become that tired. :ok:

Use a saved game editor and make your players 100%, I don't consider it cheating as in real life if a team had a game scheduled they wouldn't have their players at 60-70%.

Or if not a 100% maybe 90% as it is the first game of the season.

I usually put all my players on a Fitness training regime when I have games really early in the season.

Fitness at Intensive, nothing else.

You have to schedule your training right from the end of the previous season if you plan on playing in the Inter-toto Cup. I think what pipedown suggested is good but given enough time because in the first two - three weeks of intensive fitness your players will be tired but fit for playing each week after.

If you try GFRay suggestion your players might be fit for the game but they might get tired pretty fast.

You can try to experiment but any way you have to start the training early.

Play those with the highest fitness level (~75 - 80%) and use Iodine. Problem solved. :D

It's cheating, technically. But the AI teams are never tired, it seems.
