We are all aware of the legends of the classic version (Kerr, Duff, West, and so on).

But what are the legends of the updated versions? I don't mean Messi, Ronaldo, Hazard or other real-world stars but the players that never really made it in real-life but consistently led your teams to glory (a la Tsigalko et al).

I'll start by naming two:

Emil Krafth (DR) Sweden
Hands down the best right back I ever had since Mike Duff. Part of my legendary champions league winning Benfica Squad. You could also retrain him as a DMC and he was a beast there as well.

Omar Al-Soma (ST) Syria
Tsigalko who? Good ol' Omar had a scoring record that put Maxim and Tó to shame.

I can't remember the Databases but I remember plenty of future superstars we created that weren't very good

Tony Huston (DRC - the new Thuram : last with DC Motema Pembe in DR Congo)
George Green (MC - the new Gazza : now with Chester)
Oliver Korch (GK - the new Schmeichel : now at Hvidovre IF)
Mikel Zaton (FLC - the new Raul : now at Sestao River)

Think BBC did an article on George Green recently, remember Tony Houston being a beast of a defender, think it may have been you who signed him on one of the PTP's for Mellila Derm.

Yeah, when I say new Thuram, he was an exact copy of ODB Thuram except younger

01-10-18, 10:57 AM
Didn't realise that, do you do that often for players dubbed "the new..."?

01-10-18, 11:18 AM
nah, he was a once off. Sometimes we'd use ODB legends as a template e.g. Krath and Duff

Wasn't there a cult following for a German striker a few years ago? His name excepts me, am sure it was Sebastian something.

02-10-18, 04:48 PM
Dutch, Sebastian Haller. He's decent in real life

02-10-18, 08:13 PM
6 matches, 3 goals, 4 assists so far this season :amen:

10-10-18, 08:27 PM
Mumin Nurishi, Samed Yesil, Aleksandrs Cekulajevs
BTW, what do you think about creating fictional DB with legends from updates?

10-10-18, 09:56 PM
Cekulajevs after his 51 goal season in real life . . . . . In Lithuanian 3rd division

10-10-18, 11:02 PM
Dutch, Sebastian Haller. He's decent in real life

Haller is a Frenchie. Played for FC Utrecht though.

11-10-18, 02:19 AM
Donis Avdijaj used to be an absolute beast in some updates

11-10-18, 07:43 AM

Ah yes, indeed he was. Started at Auxerre wasn't it

Leandro Damião (ST) in the update when he was still at Internacional de Porto Alegre was unreal :0

11-10-18, 12:29 PM
Islam Feruz when he was 17. Still playing fro Chelsea Reserves at 23

11-10-18, 12:36 PM
Robert Javier, think he was on the Helvete update or possibly the Sawczuk (however it was spelt) update, essential when doing the Barakaldo challenge on the old forums.

12-10-18, 10:55 AM
Adam Morgan - now playing with Curzon Ashton

16-10-18, 05:55 PM
I don't remember which update it was, but David Oleksiak was absolutely huge for me in a N.Ireland league challenge.. Even in europe and big cl matches he still did wonders and I got him for free (SC)

16-10-18, 06:31 PM
About 3 years ago there was this striker, Federico Palacios-Martinez or something. Not too good stats but bagged more than 1 goal per game

17-10-18, 08:23 PM
Rok Kronaveter

19-10-18, 02:31 PM
Jake Sinclair. Now in Mangotsfield United.

19-10-18, 03:10 PM
I can't be sure which update it was, but most likely October 2015 (think that was the last update I played) - Theoson Siebatcheu and Davie Selke were absolute goal machines for me. Are they any good in recent updates?!

19-10-18, 03:28 PM
Jake Sinclair. Now in Mangotsfield United.

Was it Jake or Jerome Sinclair? Or both??

19-10-18, 04:26 PM
Jake. He was a beast in March and September 2012 updates.

21-10-18, 07:41 PM
Mason Bennett was a beast once
Latest updates Rodrigo Amaral was amazing
