Cant use data editor

I'm trying to load the editor tool for cm 01/02 but when doing so am greeted by; access violation at address 00429523 in module 'cm0102ed.exe'. Read of address 0000000C. Have tried reinstalling but doesnt help! Was hoping someone may be able to help???

It usually means corrupt data, not an issue with the editor

Are you trying to install a specific database along withe installation?

No just installed the original game and tried to open the editor when this message appeared

run the editor as admin with xp sp3 compat
