Do you know which club is the weakest on spetember 2012 update? I mean the worst players, the worst stuff, board without any ambitions, poor stadium...?

I'm looking for real, the most difficult challenge to achieve something.

Any leagues.

I remember playing a game with them a few years back.

For some strange reason they had one Welsh player.

Its a pretty good challenge though. One of the best for sure if you are looking for something different. Very difficult to find new players.

Ok, so we have Barakaldo FC as the worst spanish club, and what about England? Which one is the worst?

Hope someone can write the worst club in countries listed below:

England
France
Greece
Germany
Scotland

and your countries

I usually just start with the team in the lowest division with the smallest stadium and/or the smallest roster.

I don't think England is much of a challenge though. There is enough prize money available that you can turn pretty much any team into an EPL team with a decent tactic and decent scouting/player searches.

I like playing in Italy for a decent challenge. There is very little prize money available. Although you can still build a decent squad with free transfers eventually.

Another interesting challenge is to start in Turkey's lowest division.

In Turkey, unless you are in the top division, you can only sign Turkish players.

And to make matters worse if you send out your scout to find youth players it turns up mostly Croatian and Greek players, with the odd Turkish player.

I'm going to have to try that.

What are the biggest issued I will face?

Croatian players ;)

FGN restrictions; you can only have 4 non-Croats in the match squad. Given that you won't be able to sign the best Croatian players, you'll have to rely on foreigners to do something in the Champions League, while still having enough Croats to win the domestic league year after year. I've done it twice with different clubs and it was really fun and challenging. :ok:

With probably one of the worst Croatian clubs in their league .

You got as many seasons as you wanted to win CL with them... Feck it was hard and not many managed to finish it :P.

Thanks for the info everyone on the Croatia challenge.

I will probably try that after I complete my current misson (to break the most manager jobs record).

What other leagues have bad restrictions similar to Croatia?

I know Turkey is pretty brutal in the 2 lower divisions, but the top division is more manageble (plus there seems to be quite a bit of money in Turkey in the game).

Calientador won that challenge using every possible exploit there is; from classic wibwob rape to month-to-month contracts abuse. He got the likes od Modric and Agbonlahor to the worst Croatian club in Div 1 within a few seasons...

But damn that was legitimate. I thought it was zsuper winning that one though.

Calientador and zsuper were the two who, dare I say that, beat Tapani in online games, so yeah... Maybe they were cheating, but they definitely knew what they were doing ^^ (Calientadora 21331 - search on google what it is about... Legendary monster tactic, no-one has got possession of :P).

churky

They didn't cheat in a literal sense, i.e. reloading games and such. They did, however, abuse the poor game in every conceivable way. I still don't understand how someone can find that an interesting way to play, beating Tapani or not.

Back to the original theme. There is a pretty tricky short challenge if you use the latest update. Try WINNING the Scottish 3rd division with any club other than The Rangers

Impossible I think aren't allowed in same division as the main team probably the B team too.

Take your pick from the Northern Irish lower divisions and try to win a major competition. IIRC you get that stamina-issue at the Champions League/UEFA cup qual games; your (mediocre) players are at 69 % while the (much stronger) opposition are at 90-100 %. I got nowhere for three-four seasons and eventually quit.

Try Queens Park, scotland third division, no money, huge amount money goes for ground it is really though challenge, but i success to win everything with them, of course it take a 4,5 seasons to do it :)

Northern ireland even harder, impossible to sign famous player.

And Croatian league isnt too much challenge i have to admit, for me it is much easier than this 2 challenges above ;)

Somebody told RMC is a challenge, i say no. And yes it is impossible to be with that club in the same division like Real Madrid :)ž

How about winning the World Club Championship (or whatever it's called) with a club from Japan or Australia? The foreigner restrictions make that one hard, though I guess there aren't many matches and only a couple of the teams you face will be serious challenges so it's probably very doable.

Wait for a REAL challenge. Nothing even came close to it yet...

Prepare to come prepared for what's coming :D. Any tactic, anything. I promise, you will get your ass handled like NEVER before on CM (that also means, that being Man Utd, Barcelona, Real Madrid, does not really matter, you will still probably, lose more than win) ^^.

I think winning anything with a busted league is difficult. Several leagues seem programmed to finish before they actually do. I know in the original game I could never get past the semis in Europe with a Northern Irish team because they all went on holiday when the league finished. I just played Tapani V3 and the croation league is busted, not enough players for the teams, many players aged 40+ (50+!) and all contracts end a month before the league does, try fielding a team all on 65% without having the entire squad out injured before half time!

I have just completed my first season using the Tapani 3 patch.

A strong indicator of difficulty is attendance. Here are the "smallest" clubs around the world according to my season

Argentina (Max – River Plate 48000)
Premier - Atletico Rafaela 8500
Second - Huracan de Tres Arroyos 4000

Prem – Nordsjaelland – 3700
First – Bronshoj – 2700
Second – Brabrand – 1100

England (max Man U 72000)
Prem – QPR 20000
Champ – Peterborough – 12000
L1 – Crawley 4000

Pro 2 – Milazzo 1500

Japan (max Urawa 44000)
J1 – Sagan 10000
J2 – Hiroshima 8700

Northern Ireland (max linfield 2500)
Premiership – Dungannon 1100
Championship – Limavady 570

Norway (max Rosenborg 20000)
Prem – Ranheim 2000
First – Baerum 1500

Poland (max Gdansk 27000)

Portugal (max Benfica – 53000)
Prem – Estoril 4700
Second League – Feirense – 2700
Second Division – Oliveira do Bairro – 1400

ROI (max Shamrock 3700)
Prem – Drogheda – 1900

First – Ptrotrest St Petersburg – 2800

Scotland (max Celtic 54000)
Prem – Ross – 3500

First - Varnamo - 2000
Second – unknown

Turkey (max Galatasaray – 43000)
Super – Akhisar Belediye Genclik – 3000
2A – TKI Tavsanli Linyitspor – 6000
2B- Denizli Belediyespor – 1500

USA (Max LA 26000)
min – San Jose – 12000

Wales (max Prestatyn 1000)
Min – Welshpool 750

Therefore

The league with the lowest attendance is Wales
the team with the lowest attendance is in ROI
The league with the greatest mis-match in attendance in the top division is Scotland
The league with the greatest mis-match in attendance overall is also scotland
The league with the smallest mis-match in attendance in the top division is wales

Obviously these attendances would change depending on future success/failure/promotion of teams

oh, just a quick edit to say that the leagues which played Jan-dec were a lot more difficult to work out as they only show the lowest for a game which surprisingly was nearly always different to the team with the lowest average, so some of the Scandinavian/South American ones may be not quite correct
