Rwanda - Latest Transfers and Loans

Please post any information with regards to the very latest transfers and loans taking place in Rwanda here. You may also post any corrections that you have spotted in our updates and other information such as squad numbers, international caps and goals, contract expiry dates or positional changes.

The 0102 Update Team will then endeavour to enter the information into the database ahead of the next scheduled Data Update release.

When your information has been added to the database, the updater will post 'Done' in the thread to inform you.

RAYON Sports have appointed 47 year old Mexican Javier Martinez Espinosa as their new head coach on a one-year deal, replacing Brazilian Roberto Oliveira who departed the club last month.


Check to see if these players are in the DB and at this team:

The team in preseason camp, in Ngoma District, is without six key players; Yves Kimenyi, Eric Rutanga, Eric Iradukunda, Amran Nshimiyimana, Jean-Claude Iranzi and Yannick Bizimana who are part of the national team in Ethiopia.

RAYON Sports have appointed former AS Kigali and Police coach André Casa Mbungo as their new manager on a short-term deal - till end of the 2019/2020 season.


Mbungo, 52, assumes the hot seat at the Blues two months after former head coach, Mexican Javier Martinez Espinosa, was fired following a disappointing 2-0 loss to ten-man APR on match-15 of the Rwanda Premier League.

SC Kiyovu have confirmed the sacking of Emmanuel Ruremesha and assistant coach Djabir Mutarambirwa following the signing of 37 year old Olivier Karekezi as the new head Coach.

Karekezi is the record goal scorer for Rwanda having notched 25 goals in 53 games.

He will be assisted by Camalade Banamwana and François Kalisa and has already signed 3 players: Yves Kimenyi, Eric Irambona and Nigerian Samson Babua,
