THREAD RE-OPENED...... THE MODERATOR OF THIS THREAD (CURRENTLY FODSTER) HAS THE FINAL SAY ON WHAT COUNTS AND WHAT DOESN'T. IF YOU DON'T AGREE, DON'T POST HERE

Rules:
*No cheat players: Such as ODB beasts (Tsigalko, To Madeira...), handicaped, own created, pretty much all who arent included in DB by both of the update teams (ODB and SIM).
*No cheat tactics: With less than 3 defenders and centralized.
*Must be with club or nation you manage: Player in that club or nation (Caps, stats...) and match records (Only your team, cards, penalty misses and OG are not included).
*No holiday records allowed
*Season records:Atleast 30 matches (Including from the bench).
*Career records: The period you were manager of the club, 1/3 of the career seasons must be atleast 30 matches played (Including from the bench), record starts with 5 seasons.
*No joint records: First will be the first.
*Match records: Only the team your managing (Not included "By both") "By both" - If the other team you play against has given his partition to the record (Your team scored 3 OG´s and other team scores atleast one OG, for example)
*Awards: (Young player of the year, EU GK of the year etc...) Player who wins an award must play for your team and the time he wins the award he must play atleast 30 matches for your team during that season.
*Databases allowed (3.9.60, 3.9.68 & any of the official CM updates) Any tampered or create databases wont be accepted.


Its all about honesty, all you need to do is post proof you are manager of said club, nation or player, post screenshots of your record and also please include record number you are going to break so its easier for me to update

I'm not fussed, there is no getting around that fact that that is the fastest HT :) Deep down in their hearts everyone knows that is true, and that the time since the start of the match is completely irrelevant. In fact, there record becomes even more poignant for the way it shows up the design of the competition as a complete shambles :ok: It's like an overhead kick from 50 yards by a goal keeper on the half way line in a friendly, clearly the best goal of all time, and even better for being unrecognised by FIFA:

Has anyone ever scored double digits in a game?
I've been trying to do that now and it ain't happening, sometimes I'm even 6-0 in the first half but then the second half finishes 6-0. Players get complacent after a good first 45 minutes and it's really hard to get them 10 goals.

I've had a season in which I scored 153 domestic league goals, and that's in Portugal, so 34 games, and still the highest goals in 1 game was 8.
I've had a champions league in which I scored 75 goals and my best was also 8 goals in one game.

Just hope there was something I could say to my players in half time to not make them get so bored in the 2nd half..

Edit: It's also really hard to get a player to score over 5 in one match. I've done 5 many times but never 6. I scored 101 goals with Batistuta's regen player (I'm using the CM3 database from Cam F) and never did he scored more than 5.

*No cheat players: Such as ODB beasts (Tsigalko, To Madeira...), handicaped, own created, pretty much all who arent included in DB by both of the update teams (ODB and SIM).
*No cheat tactics: With less than 3 defenders and centralized.
*Must be with club or nation you manage: Player in that club or nation (Caps, stats...) and match records (Only your team, cards, penalty misses and OG are not included).
*No holiday records allowed
*Season records: Atleast 30 matches (Including from the bench).
*Career records: The period you were manager of the club, 1/3 of the career seasons must be atleast 30 matches played (Including from the bench), record starts with 5 seasons.
*No joint records: First will be the first.
*Match records: Only the team your managing (Not included "By both") "By both" - If the other team you play against has given his partition to the record (Your team scored 3 OG´s and other team scores atleast one OG, for example)
*Awards: (Young player of the year, EU GK of the year etc...) Player who wins an award must play for your team and the time he wins the award he must play atleast 30 matches for your team during that season.

You're relatively new on the forums so you don't remember that a good few years back we didn't have such a good grasp on wibwob. Sure, we were still making successful tactics, but there was no Iodine level of ripping the game apart. Ask any older regular here, I'm sure they all remember the good old times. :)
Then Tapani showed up after a long absence, released Iodine to break the myth of centralized tactics...and the rest is history. Now the most successful tactics are just modified versions of Iodine, i.e. some basic tricks are taken from it and applied to various different formations.
As a result, wibwobbing is considered as cheating nowadays. Back in the days it was just a way to improve your tactic a bit. :ok:

Yep, that^^ :lol: For instance, i have 3 or 4 flat 4-4-2 formations (no arrows) that are pretty much game killers, you cant fail to win the league with them! But, tbh, if you sign good players then the tactic almost becomes irrelevant (provided you play attacking/short passing), you will win!

Goofy is one of the old regulars and there's a reason he pointed out a flat 442 formation. Back in the days a flat 442 was considered one of the most difficult formation to have success with. Wibwobbing it to an unbeatable level was unimaginable. Today, we have flat 442s that rip the game apart just as any other formation. Evolution. :)

Anyone has a record for most goals scored (in a whole career) by a single player?
I'm currently trying to score 1000 goals with a player. I built my team from the English Conference and in my 9th season I'm ready as I found my striker as he spawned right in my team, being a regen from Chris Sutton. (Still enjoying the amazing Cam F CM3 database).

First season he got 59 goals with 18 years old, so if he lasts until.. 34, I suspect I can reach maybe 1100 or 1200 with some luck.

Edit: Although I'm really pissed as the World Championships got bugged and doesn't happen because the final match from the first season wasn't played.. yet. So I've got those less games to score..
