General chat for all things gridiron:

Who do you follow in the NFL if anyone?

Do you love or hate the game? It does seem to be a Marmite situation with America's game.

As most of you know I'm a big big bigt Tennessee Titans fan, it looks like my favourite player Cortland Finnegan is going to be a free agent :(

But the discussion of the moment is, where the hell is Peyton Manning going to end up?

Doesn't matter where he ends up.... he's 35 and injury prone.... and was due a $28 million bonus had he stayed on the Colts payroll for another day....

That was a pretty scummy move they did on him binning him off after his years of service and providing success for them.

I agree. I never cared about nba much but then lived with a canadian guy who was a big basketball-fan and he got me taking part into yahoo fantasy basketball, started watching a few games etc. and i really got into it. 3 years down the track and i am as big a fan as ever.

I watched almost a game a night this season and last. had the nba league pass for the last 2 years. cost me 160 dollars this year or so but was well worth it. reading basketball talk every day.
love the boston celtics. rondo & garnett ftw. even got my gf into it and she is a massive celtics fan too now.

i already checked and they got the nfl league pass too. contemplating getting it but its gonna be well expensive since i am deffo gonna get nba again a month later. watched 2 nfl games in my entire life. one was last seasons superbowl and one was the superbowl 3 or 4 years ago. twice the giants won. i must be eli's lucky charm

but yeah, i don't have a fav team yet. i like the giants but its too easy making the reigning champion my fav team :D

Green Bay Packers - only non-profit, community team in the NFL (even though non-profit is a bit false)

alrighty, checked then nfl website again and there is no way i am getting this league pass. they are fucking nuts.
nba costs me around 150-160 euros and i get every game live, playoffs and finals live plus, all games archived and on-demand, can pause rewind, highlight etc. etc. plus there are games on literally every night.

fecking nfl wants way more and there are 14 games on the same day, similar to friday - sunday football in germany.

I bought the game pass it is well worth it mate. What is the coverage like in Germany for it?

Patinoz
18-07-12, 04:33 PM
mate, i agree with ya. those game passes are brilliant. nba (and i guess nfl too) gives me 3000 kbs streaming. its like watching tv, you dont see a difference and pixel like you do in illegal streams. you can watch a game the next morning, can pause whenever you want to, its really good service.

its just that the price is way too steep for the number of games you can realistically watch. there is one on friday, one on sunday and the rest on saturday. so max is maybe 4 a week, realistic is maybe 2. way too expensive for me personally. there is no use in watching the regular season and then not having the play-offs. which means you'd have to take the first package which would be 60 euro a month for me. considering i then would pay 30 a month or so for nba, i'd have 3 months or so where i spent almost 100 euro on fecking live tv. i also have sky so i can watch live bundesliga etc. and thats another 30 euros a month. so around 120 or 130 euro or month for freaking live sports is ridiculous.

it'd be better if you can pay it over 6 months or so. their 60 euro a month is nuts.

there is no coverage at all barring the superbowl. not even highlights of reg games or playoff games or so.

ashton430
18-07-12, 04:46 PM

team selector might be an option if you have a fav team but i dont yet
and even then, some of your teams games will be on at 3am or so so its unlikely you watch all of them. and its always nice watching some big games too. it'd be like having a united pass, you still dont wanna miss city - liverpool or chelsea - arsenal etc.

Very smart clock play by Ravens in the end.

When the lights went out, and then eventually came back on, it seemed like the 49ers were on the superman pills from the new Bourne Movie :D
They were quicker, smarter and even seemed physically stronger. Took Baltimore the whole 3rd quarter to get back up to speed.

Baltimore seemed to get themselves wound up over a call involving the restart and were overly distracted by it. Flacco was terrible when they came back out but pulled it out of the bag to get the 1st down that pretty much won them the game in the end.

Flacco was terrible? Did we watch the same game? He was at no stage during the game terrible. Baltimore wouldn't have won without him. Flacco always been an average QB but the way he played in the play-offs was sheer amazing and never been seen before. Even broke Montana's record last night. I became a fan of him during the play-offs. Always cool, calm and collected. So fucking strong in the pocket as well. The only reason Baltimore even got to the Superbowl was him being awesome. The way he got them back in the game at the end of the 4th quarter against Denver with 2 clutch plays was sheer unbelievable. He outplayed both Peyton and Brady to get to the Superbowl.

SF were disappointing and so was Kaepernick. No blame on him though, can't expect him to perform at such a stage. Was going to struggle eventually.

Without the power outage Baltimore would have won the game by 30.

Dermotron
04-02-13, 03:04 PM
He was terrible compared to how he played before the lights when out but then again so was the whole team. Guess it gets emphasised when the QB is on centre stage so much. That and the twice he got sacked after the restart looked avoidable. Maybe he's not the quickest in those situations. His opening to the game was phenomenal indeed and of course he pulled out of the fire when things were looking really ropey.

Patinoz
04-02-13, 03:46 PM
He wasn't sacked twice after the restart. He was sacked once in the first quarter and then again in the third. The sack in the third he couldn't do anything about as there was a fuck-up from the offensive tackle. Flacco got completely blind-sided.

You can't score on every single drive. If Rice fumbles the ball, Flacco can't do anything about that.

I am sorry but I don't think Flacco and terrible are the words associated with each other when people talk about the Super Bowl.

If you add to that his 3 TD's and 56% 3rd Down efficiency, it's pretty good ;)

Dermotron
04-02-13, 04:07 PM
I should know better to keep talking to someone when I have to quote myself but . . .

Flacco was terrible when they came back out but pulled it out of the bag to get the 1st down that pretty much won them the game in the end.

When they came back out was what, 5 minutes? The time 49's ran in 15 pts?

I do fail to see where I said he had a terrible game. In fact the quote above I referenced the point he rescued the game for the Ravens. I did think both sacks were after the lights came back on, my bad. But as much as you want to force your opinion through, that is mine.

Patinoz
04-02-13, 04:20 PM
And I fail to see what Flacco has to do with the 49ers scoring 15 points. He wasn't on the field when they did that.

I am just surprised that having to punt it once (and the punter kicking an absolute shit punt) and the RB fumbling the ball justifies calling the QB terrible during that period.

It's like saying Messi was terrible at the start of the second half since he didn't score anymore after putting in 3 in the first half and the opponent got back into the game cuz Pique loses the ball at the box.

Dermotron
04-02-13, 04:27 PM

when the lights were out Flacco was stood off to the side chatting, Iwas saying to my bro that he would go off the boil.

The 49er QB never stopped throwing practice passes keeping his body nimble and his mind in the game.

The CBS coverage kept saying 49ers had been through this before and it benfitted them, if anyone.

Great show anyway, Superbowl Sunday will be a traditional event in my house from now on :D

No need to sulk.

I am not sure what you 2 expected Flacco to do after the break? Throw another 3 TD passes and Baltimore getting 60 points? Baltimore had one punt during that period and suddenly he goes off the boil? What was Kaepernick doing then? He was never even "on the boil"? If you watched Flacco a bit more often, you know that he is just like that. Always relaxed, no matter the situation. No need to run around and throw passes for 40 minutes in the dark. The guy ties the Play-off record with 10 TD and 0 INT, gets the MVP honour in the Superbowl in which he throws 3 TD and 0 INT, gets a passer rating of 124.2 in the Superbowl and I am reading him supposedly being terrible and going off the boil for parts of the third quarter.

Just don't agree

But each to their own. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. :)

CHARLOTTE, NC—CBS color commentator Dan Dierdorf provided detailed analysis of a player’s shoe falling off during the Jets-Panthers game Sunday, speaking on the subject for several minutes as he determined the factors that caused the cleat to become detached from the foot. “A shoe just popped off, right at the 25-yard line, and it’s still on the ground, lying motionless,” said Dierdorf, who methodically scrutinized several angles of the broadcast footage in slow motion, establishing “that guy’s shoe fell off during the play.” “Wow, unbelievable. If you look closely, it appears that a teammate stepped on his left heel and it comes loose. And the guy keeps going without a shoe.” At press time, Dierdorf was sharing an anecdote about a shoe falling off during his playing days with the St. Louis Cardinals as the Panthers scored a touchdown.

Some interesting picks in this years' draft. Was quietly pleased with the additions the Titans made, but felt they could have got QB Aaron Murray in the 4th when they had the chance, not too sure on QB Zach Mettenberger but as a 6th round pick I can't complain especially when he was tipped to go in the 2nd on most mock drafts..

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has signed a bumper new contract at the San Francisco 49ers - worth a mammoth £75million.

The six-year deal, which will see him stay at the 49ers until 2020, has rocketed him among the top earners in the NFL and will see him earn £12.5m annually.

Amazingly, the 26-year-old was due to make only £600,000 this season before this deal increased his wages 125-fold.

NICE!

no one stands a chance this season against the Packers if they stay healthy....i think about 1/2 the team was injured last season including Rodgers..still one the division :)

don't believe me? watch the 1st game of the NFL season this year...I'd say the Seahawks IN Seattle are a pretty good way to measure your abilities.

Rodgers isn't going to look like a lost kid out there like Peyton did in the Super Bowl

he also has a few more toys to play around with this season..Packers drafted a few good Wide Receivers(not that he needs more)

Eddie Lacy is a BEAST

Clay Matthews is finally getting some help...Julius Peppers has been chomping at the bit throughout his entire NFL career to line up as a Linebacker

I'm not predicting Super Bowl victory quite yet..too early for that

but does anyone remember what happened last time they stayed as healthy as the AVERAGE NFL TEAM?

they went 15-1 with one of the worst defenses in the NFL and NO RUNNING BACK LOL You may see the most complete offense of all time this season :)

Bevchenko
12-06-14, 05:57 AM
I wouldn't say "nobody is going to stand a chance" I think you made some great acquisitions in the off season (Pepper). However, I still put you 4th/5th behind Seattle, Denver, 49ers (and maybe Pats).

Yes the Seahawks lost this offseason, but they pretty much walked it last year, bu they did improve their offense I still think they're the strongest out there.

Trust_in_Klopp

Packers were 1 inch away from blocking a field goal in the playoffs to send game into overtime against the 49ers

that was without Clay Mathews...1/2 of the Defensive Line, 1/2 of the Offensive Line, & Eddie Lacy played with an injured ankle the last month of the season.

It was quite the miracle we were able to even make it o the playoffs.

I think drafting a Strong Safety will have just as big of an impact as Peppers.

Do you honestly believe there is a team that can outscore the Packers if everyone is healthy? (doesn't need to be everyone...just can't have 1/2 the team injured)

Rodgers is the most efficient QB in the HISTORY OF THE NFL...he know has a Running Back that can wear down a defense.

NOBODY can tackle Eddie Lacy.

I think about 1/4 of the carries he had were plays that were blown dead by the refs BEFORE HE WAS TACKLED....usually there were about 6 guys surrounding him....Eddie still on his feet, but the play does not go on haha

the Packers went 15-1 with the worst defense in the NFL so don't give me that shit.

the reason they couldn't beat the 49ers when Rodgers returned from injury was because it wasn't just the defense that was injured (it was the OFFENSIVE LINE)

Should serve you as somewhat of an indicator what your regular season record or a potential win in the season opener is worth.

yes, I do...that is why I said they need to stay healthy...just mentioning the Seahawks because everyone thinks they are UNBEATABLE in Seattle...we will see, right?

that Giants game was an anomaly for the Green Bay Offense.

the Packer WR's had like 8 drops that game

I think James Jones had as many drops that game as he did the entire following season(a season where he would lead the NFL in TD's despite a low number of targets)

Like everyone else here in Wisconsin I do realize the defense needs to get better...they've got the pieces to improve a lot

The most efficient QB of All Time + a Running Back with more Yards After Contact than anyone in the NFL + Jordy Nelson + Randall Cobb + all of the other young talent at WR = BIG TROUBLE FOR THE REST OF THE NFL

The Tennessee Titans announced Tuesday that second-round running back Bishop Sankey has signed his rookie contract.

With Chris Johnson out of the picture, there's no question Sankey will get the opportunity for an instant impact.

The first running back drafted last month, Sankey backed up a highly productive career at Washington by excelling in the short shuttle (four seconds flat), the three-cone (6.75 seconds) and the 40-yard dash (4.49) at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine.

The US Patent and Trademark Office has cancelled the Washington Redskins trademarks, finding the football team's name disparages Native Americans.

The case was filed on behalf of five Native Americans who argued the trademarked team name was offensive.

Members of the US Congress and many in the US sport media have called for the team's name to be changed.

But owner Daniel Snyder has refused, saying it honours Native Americans. The team says it will appeal.

"We've seen this story before," said the team's lawyer Bob Raskopf.

"And just like last time, today's ruling will have no effect at all on the team's ownership of and right to use the Redskins name and logo. We are confident we will prevail once again."

I've always liked NFL, but recently I have actually fallen in love with it, I can't get enough of it. Watching games and NFL Redzone (what a great show!!!!!), chatting about it at work where a few other comrades love it, playing Madden on PS4, it's all about NFL!!!

I've supported the Jets the last few years, but they have a dog killer playing for them so I've reverted back to my original team, Dallas Cowboys. Dad bought me back a jersey from the states in the 80s, wore it to death back then. Been 20 0dd years since they've won, will be good to see them go all the way this season ;) !!!!!!

Surprised to see the Steelers go down so meekly today. Thought when they came back to 20-15 down, they'd get home. instead they fell in a heap.

Can't wait for the Cowboys game tomorrow!!!!!! 4/4 in December, now it's time to step up in the playoffs. Cannot see them losing against the Lions, they have a lot of weapons but Romo and the offensive line are dominating at the moment, Cowboys by 10!!!!!

Good line-up for the divisional games:

Ravens v Patriots
Cowboys v Packers
Panthers v Seahawks
Colts v Broncos

I'm going for a Patriots, Packers, PANTHERS!, Broncos win.

Feeling controversial with my Panthers pick.

Also in regards to the 2015 draft, gutted Titans only got 2nd pick, we NEEDED Mariota who will no doubt go to the Bucs.

ozRooster

Panthers won't get within 14 points of Seattle Mr Bevan.

And I can see the Cowboys beating the Packers, maybe that's bias talking, but they'll improve after yesterday's performance.

Broncos to towel up the Colts, Patriots to beat their bogey team.

Mariota looks the goods :ok:.

Fantastic game today, some unbelievable moments. Personally I reckon the Packers stuffed it more than Seattle won it.

Still filthy on the Cowboys getting robbed last week, Dez Bryants brilliant reception should've been allowed. If it isn't a catch by the rules, the rules are wrong, disgraceful!!!!!

The over time goal golden goal style rule is a bit harsh on the team that loses the toss. The TD from special teams for the Seahawks was class

Couldn't agree more. It looked to me as if he had control of the ball, it might not have been pretty but he seemed to have a hold of it!

Regardless, the Pats are unstoppable, unless they get unlucky and end up having to play Seattle in the Super Bowl... oh crap!

It's a lot better than it used to be. It used to come down to whoever got the first point so it came down to whoever won the toss as they would get in range and just boot it. Now if the first team can only convert the field goal the other team gets the ball and has to either match it, or score a TD to win. So at least now most teams get a chance getting at least one possession in OT. Unfortunately for the Packers they couldn't deal with two bombs from Wilson so didn't get a chance.

Anyone know what's going on?

Couldn't decide on a team to get stuck into for years (always had a soft spot for the Green Pay Packers due to be the only non franchise). So decided to number all the teams and ask random.org to pick a team. The one team I didn't want was the 49er's. Of course that's what came out and have been been following all their news closely since. Surprising they didn't draft a QB since there's doubts over Kapernick staying (or maybe there's none now). Could be that Blaine Glabbert keeps his place for this season. Think they are better than 100-1 for Super Bowl and 50-1 for NFC Championship odds when the Cowboys are 11-1 having a worse record last season

There are plenty of reasons to be a Packers fan other than them being non-franchise.

They draft and develop their own players instead of spending $ on free agents...and of course the HISTORY at Lambeau is LEGENDARY

Steelers 3 - 31 Eagles :faint: Roethlistberger started great but then it turned into the Carson Wentz show. Some start by a rookie. The new Lance Harbour.

Titan's kind of choked last night Bev, plenty of chances to tie it up

The Brown's kicker was hopeless, cost them 7 pts and missed to win the game. Dolphins won in OT. Considering the Browns had to rotate a wide receiver with 5th string QB it was some effort to comeback.

The Cardinals were awful this week

I'd like to see the Falcons win it. Only 1 Conference win and no Super Bowl's. Plus the Ryan/Jones combo is as good if not the best in the league. Their Offence coach being all but unveiled as new 49er's head coach has shit timing though.

The Raiders are moving from Oakland to Las Vegas. They'll have the best attendance by away fans I'd imagine

So in the last 3 years

Rams - St.Louis > LA
Chargers - San Diego > LA
Raiders - Oakland > Las Vegas

In fairness to both the Chargers and Raiders, neither really wanted to move but neither city wanted to retain them either.

Vegas have gone from no premier franchises to 2 in 2 years (albeit Raiders don't move until 2019 season) after getting Las Vegas Golden Knights expansion team last year.

Depends on how well they draft. A lot of the middle to lower teams have been giving up their draft picks for fringe players from better teams in an effort to make short term gains. All it's really doing is strengthening the upper end teams.

Marcus Mariota has the makings of a franchise QB in the mould of Brady, Roethlisberger and Brees. Him, Carston Wentz (Eagles) and Jameis Watson (Buccaneers) are 3 top young QB's who you'd imagine will fill the void when the likes of the other 3 retire (all 37+). Dak Prescott of the Cowboys another exciting talent but you'd wonder how much A) the team around is helping and B) having Ezekiel Elliot as his targetman helps him. The second part could be said of most QB's though (Ryan/Jones at Falcons) since Russell Wilson has been seemingly half the QB since Marshawn Lynch retired. Prescott and the current Cowboys team certainly suit each other. The others are just shining even in weak teams which you'd imagine would be a better gauge. It's unlike football where shining in a weak team just proves you've talent. If a QB is good behind a bad O-Line he's a good quarter back, no matter the quality of the rest of team, age etc.

As for having chance. Outside the top 6 in the betting (Patriots, Packers, Seahawks, Steelers, Cowboys and Falcons) I'd say only the Texans (if they can get Romo could be 2nd favs) and the Dolphins (depends on Tannehills recovery) have a realistic chance. I would have said the Raiders but this year will be a distraction. Could be a great bet for last year in Oakland. Carr's recovery is important. He's one of 3-4 QB's that are just below the very best.

He'll not move this late in his career but I'd love to see Brees lead the Texans as opposed to Romo. Honestly think the Patriots would have been even more successful with him as QB1 under Belicheck than Brady (not that it was ever a move). Just from a talent perspective. Brady and Belicheck are total sociopath's in their desire for success which is why they've done so well together. Brees career passing yards are insane given he's really only led 2 decent Saints teams.

From what I've seen of Jameis Winston this season I can't say I rate him. He's been as bad as our lot. Yeah, we've tried 3 QB's this season and all have been piss poor. Hopefully we'll get Cousins from the Redskins.

Most impressive QB for me this year - Deshaun Watson the touchdown machine. If he didn't get injured, Houston would have made the play-offs at least.

Dermotron

Before the Championship game and since Wentz got injured they ranked 32nd in offence. But here they are, one game from a Super Bowl victory. I'd absolutely love it if they win.

Dubinho
24-01-18, 11:02 PM
32nd? That's last isn't it? That's one crazy stat. They only had 3 games before facing the Vikings that were unimpressive though. One of those was the low scoring 6-0 defeat to the Cowboys where I think they fielded a second string mainly, due to wrapping up the division and gaining home advantage for the play-offs.

Dermotron
25-01-18, 10:10 AM
Yeah last. Basically since Wentz got injured/Foles was QB1 up until the Vikings game. Wentz Vs. Brady would have been some match-up, Wentz is an incredible athlete for 6'5, arm is probably on par with Brady's and is probably 2nd to him in terms of reading the game. It's only his 2nd season so if he can recover from the ACL injury ok, he'll surely only improve with experience

Dermotron

What a game :hail:

Most passing yards in any NFL game ever.

Nick Foles steps in for the guy who is likely to be the best QB in the league for the next 10 years, plays 2 terrible games, 2 decent games, 1 excellent game and then plays a Super Bowl like he knows every play ever played. Huge credit to Doug Pederson for getting up to speed / settled in. Foles was a pro bowler in 2013 so he's no without talent.

Be interesting to see who is QB1 for them next season

Looks like a bust of a draft by the Browns. Mayfield at #1 is just Johnny Menziel all over again. Sam Darnold/Josh Allen/Josh Rosen would surely have been the reliable QB they need. Another maverick, another disappointment

Rashaad Penny to be Offensive Rookie of the Year!

I'm not in the business of digging up predictions and mocking them in hindsight, but what prompted this (ahead of an obvious choice like Saquon Barkley)? Was it just a bold prediction? The only reason I ask is because I'm desperate to drop him but don't want to be regretting it in a few weeks. He's got 4.3, 3.0, 0.5 & 4.9 so far and I started him W4 because Chris Carson was out, but Mike Davis exploded instead :( and where the hell is CJ Prosise?! Seem the Seahawks have a lot of average-at-best RBs.

Dermotron
03-10-18, 11:30 AM
That was it, he was meant to be a few levels above the existing options and thus shine brighter than other candidates. Hasn't happened.

In terms of physique, Barkley is just different gravy. You can see he has used his athleticism to get him out of trouble rather than knowledge of the game all through college though, his route options are woeful at best. Once he starts reading a defence better he will be one hell of a player.

The latter half of this prediction is worse. Steelers won't be repping the AFC, Chiefs or . . . the fucking Pats. NFC is very open even if the Rams are killing it at the minute.

I've tried a few ambitious trades for now, I'll drop him as a last resort (depends on Dalvin Cook's fitness).

Yep I'm just loving watching Barkley break tackles and gain three more yards than he deserves on almost every play. Giants haven't had a good running back for so long. Sick of moaning about o-line but if they got their act together he might have a few more routes to consider!

Yeah, after their slow start they seem to be returning to the W-churning machine they always are. Obviously the focus was on Brady vs Rodgers, but Patriots would've been expecting to win against a pretty weirdly listless Packers team.

We play the Giant's tonight. We might scrape a win or the Giants put 40 pts on us.

Scored 144pts in Fantasy for a W (beat the guy with the 2nd highest total, again) but likely to miss the play-offs after an awful run in weeks 7-9 which sucks as one of the top 4 has serious beginners luck - Round 1, pick 1, Aaron Rodgers. He has 6 Packers in his squad

Yep, got my alarm set for 01:10 for Giants @ 49ers!

Jeez, susprised his squad of Packers have got him that far... Rodgers hasn't exactly been great either.

I'm trailing by 2.9 and have Engram and Giants D tonight - he has Alfred Morris so it's going to the wire! I'm projected to win by 1.1 but I can just see Morris slaying the Giants now

Dermotron
12-11-18, 01:24 PM
Nah, Mostert will keep Morris out. Morris is only used to gain short 1st downs. Breida would be a different story. Engram likely to get more targets than Sheperd so I'd say you are solid enough. INT and fumbles are where DEF make the points. That's why my Bears are the business, even with Mack

I think I'm with the killjoys on this one. Whilst 54-51 is undoubtedly entertaining (offensively, at least), I'd much rather a balance between O & D. Hard not to admire offenses performing at this level, though. The proper killjoys are bemoaning the fact that touchdowns should be "worked for", but there are plenty of dire teams demonstrating that touchdowns are still hard to come by if you don't have the tools in place!

It was an awful trade by the Raiders, he was decent last season. He now has the ideal QB for him, short passes suit both, Cooper's average hands and Prescott's average arm. Both are quite intelligent which makes up for their limitations.

Gruden is a pawn to destroy the Raiders before they reach Vegas. Not sure who controls the pawn, the 49ers maybe? Turn all the Raiders fans left in Oakland into 49ers perhaps?

I think the Saints will win if they can stay healthy, a few injuries starting to creep in. Once someone figures out how to stop the supply lines for Gurley the Rams will be in trouble. Chiefs issue will come about when they can't outgun someone. They can't keep shipping points without it catching up.

Saints, Pats, Steelers (yeah them), Chiefs, Rams is my top 5 ranking. Best of the rest are Chargers, Bears and still fancy the Panthers to sort it out. (should be 8-3 not 6-5)

jacobclear

I think the loss the Titans will be enough to spur them on for the rest of the season. It's just their ability to use all the offence to the best of their ability is unrivalled, all the others have 1 or 2 they rely so heavily on. Rams - Gurley/Woods, Chiefs - Hill/Kelce, Saints - Thomas/Kamara, Steelers - Brown/Conner, Patriots - even the red shirts have a chance of contributing. Look at their use of Develin last night. It's just impressive. And it would sicken your shit cos it's the Patriots

Jags fans will be wondering what could have been by the time that new 3yr deal Bortles has signed is up. Their offence is mid range at best but it's not as useless as Bortles makes it. If Brees or Rivers had a defence like that for the last 10 years either one of them would have more rings than Brady, it's that good.
