Moghreb Tétouan slumped to a 2 - 0 defeat to Independiente del Valle in their Division 4 fixture.

An odd match which I couldn't see us winning. The home team had a couple more shots off & on target yet their keeper was the MOM.

We remain top, but on goal difference.

TP Mazembe 2 Deportivo Tachira 2

"Disappointed to drop points at home to a struggling unmanaged side but considering we fell behind to two early goals a draw isn't a bad result.

The inconsistency of our goalkeeper isn't helping at the moment. We have been patient with him because he is due a rise but for the sake of the team we may need to strengthen once the season is over."

Cotonsport had earlier looked much the better team thanks to two goals from the prolific Callum Wilson. The sending off of Gregoire Defrel however gave the opposition hope.

A game that was of little consequence, regardless of that Moghreb still rolled out our strongest team. The stats indicate that we were the better team but Bamako nicked the draw late on. Roll on Div.3, sad to see div.4 disappear into the horizon, we've been there a while

Nkana FC dominated much of the play against HJK but could only manage a 2 - 2 draw in their Division 4 fixture.

Wright was left frustrated by this result as his side dominated possession with 63% and shots on goal 16 - 6.

Caicedo scored both of the goals for Nkana FC and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

After this result, Nkana FC are now unbeaten in 27 games setting a new club record for most games unbeaten in a row.

TP Mazembe 1 v Mamelodi Sundowns 3

Frustrating to put in a dismal performance in such a big game. It wasn't until the last half hour that the home team finally started creating a few chances. Mazembe were already three down by the time Mariano Diaz bagged himself a goal on return from suspension.

Manager Bradley conceded that they may have to be content with a playoff spot now with the fixtures they have left.

In an ultimately frustrating game Nkana FC were unable to take their chances against TP Mazembe and lost 2 - 1 in their Division 4 fixture.

Caicedo scored the only goal for Nkana FC and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Despite having 62% possession, 12 shots to the visitors 8, and a man advantage for 47 minutes Nkana couldn't break through the Mazembe rearguard action.

Wright cut a dejected figure at the final whistle after suffering his first ever league defeat as Nkana manager.

Nkana FC 1 v TP Mazembe 2

Following a poor performance in their previous fixture, manager Bradley demanded a reaction from his players and thankfully they provided it to upset the odds against top of the table Nkana.

Mazembe started the match very brightly and star player Jesse Lingard opened the scoring with a tidy finish. However the home side soon found their rhythm and after levelling the scores through a well taken penalty started applying incessant pressure. However the away side held firm and it was Jack Cork who smashed home in the second half to clinch victory.

The 3 points means that Mazembe are now certain of at least a playoff place however they are still relying on other teams to slip up in the automatic promotion race.

TP Mazembe 1 v New Saints 1

Closely fought contest between 2 sides with plenty still to play for at both ends of the table. Mazembe handed debuts to Jeremy Gelin and Vinicius Junior due to a number of players being unavailable.

Bradleys men took the lead early in the second half thanks to Spanish frontman Gerard Moreno. However the home team could not add to their advantage and New Saints found the equaliser about 10 minutes later.

The point was good enough to move Mazembe back up into the automatic promotion spots with 3 games left.

HJK 1 v TP Mazembe 1

A vital 2 points dropped in the promotion race for Mazembe as they couldn't find the winner against a stubborn HJK outfit.

Plizzari in goal for the home side produced a man of the match performance as he kept out efforts from Moreno, Lingard and Calvert-Lewin to earn his side a point. Although DCL did find a way through in the 2nd half to tie the score.

It is still all to play for as we enter the final 2 fixtures.

A record crowd turned out for the title party at Nkana Stadium. Thankfully for the manager and his team it went according to plan as Nkana FC outclassed Wright's former club AS Trenčín, beating them 3 - 0 in their Division 4 fixture.

Cotonsport 2 v TP Mazembe 3

A ding dong tussle ended with a narrow victory for the away side thanks to a hat trick and man of the match showing by Jesse Lingard.

Mazembes cause was not helped by the sending off of full back Biraghi after a nasty challenge but they managed to hold out for victory.

The victory puts us back into the top 10 and a point behind the playoffs.

El Jaish welcome dweatherston11 and his team Antigua Barracuda to their ground. A record attendance in the stadium as we begin life in division 4. It was 50/50 and we nicked it through Marius Wolf as the game finished 1-0. I'll gladly take a season of nicking 1 nil wins!!

Even though gate receipts have gone up, our wage bill needs to be re evaluated as while we took a weighted gamble going into the red to drive home last season a negative balance sheet will see this team right back where I found them.

Newly promoted Sydney FC drew 1-1 at KS Skenderbeu. We dominated the game thanks to an early goal from Livermore. Mbokani had a goal disallowed in the 2nd half and then out of nowhere the ref gave the home side a penalty in 82 minute! Bailey tucked it away for a share of the spoils.

Disappointed to lose after being the better side but what can you do when the ref is a homer!

The top three win again, so no change there.

Sunday sees us take on top of the league Township in a, potential, title decider! Oh, the excitement.

Shamrock Rovers beat Township Rollers 2 - 1 in their Division 4 fixture.

Foden was on the scoresheet for his side.

FANTASTIC WIN for us as we go top of the league with five matches remaining. We are now two points clear of Township, who share the same number of points as third place team Koper.

All of the above looks even better as I didn't get round to changing my team!

Well that makes me nervous for our next match... Luckily I have a buffer in the playoff places so I can afford a loss or two, probably.

The match ended 1 - 1 between Shamrock Rovers and HJK Helsinki in their Division 4 fixture.

Boëtius was on the scoresheet for his side.

An even match finishes all square. Any other result would have done the losing team disservice.

Well, that sets the season finale up for a grand finish. We remain top but on the same points as Township, 81pts, but we have a better goal difference with our 65 to their 64. Koper are three points behind us in third after losing their last match.

Shamrock Rovers beat Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar 2 - 1 in their Division 4 fixture.

Joaquín scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Boëtius was also on the scoresheet for his side.

A hard fought victory that at one stage I thought was beyond us.

The top three all win but we lose top spot on goal difference :faint: We were a goal ahead on goal difference before this match, we gained +1, but Township won 5-2, & now have a superior goal difference to us! All this and Koper continue to stalk the top two, three points back.

HJK's 5-2 win over The New Saints has guaranteed them a playoff spot, though the automatic promotion spots are out of reach.

Two goals and two assists for Adama Traore meant he had a part in all of his team's goals barring Berardi's penalty...

Correa, Geiger and Lavezzi were amongst the goalscorers.

Rovers went 1 up, 1-2 down, & then nicked a winner in the 89th minute!

So the the top three remain as they are. We are second, level on points with Township who increased their goal difference over us to 3 with two matches remaining. Let's see if we can catch them.

HJK lost 2-1 in the playoff semi finals to FH.

Despite seemingly having the better of the game, they couldn't make their chances count.

Bad luck mate, HJK are a strong outfit. You'll be one of the favourites to win the division next season. Good luck

A 3-0 win over Antigua Barracuda keeps HJK level at the top on 12 points -- falling to second by virtue of a single goal (Skenderbeu have scored 14 in their opening four games, compared to HJK's 13)

The result also takes HJK to 19 league games unbeaten (not counting playoffs).
They can make it 20 in their next game, against FH -- the same team that beat them in last season's playoffs. Spicy.
