NSI Runavik, for example, are so far in debt that they will never be back in the black. It wouldn't really be fair to expect someone to take them over.

You are entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine. The rules of football change all the time and I would personally say that having managers who stay for longer than a week would be preferable. When you quit Baghdad you posted:

If you quit your club, then they would be available wouldn't they? A side who were solvent when you took them over as you have made at least one signing. So no, obviously not.

But if Taylor Swift decided that he/she couldn't manage Baghdad as it is currently seemingly impossible to do a transfer then they shouldn't be excluded from the game imo.

Just my opinion again Mark, but I would say that as it is probably physically impossible for NSI Runavik to ever get back in the black now, It would be harsh to expect anyone to manage them.

Not sure about Dynamic Togolais, but as they only have 21 players the same may go for them (not sure if they are in debt right now).

There are definitely solvent teams available in Div 4 though.

If I could make a suggestion for the new season, I think it would be best to specifically let people know which teams are now dead ducks and will never be solvent again so that any new managers don't mistakenly choose them. I think Baghdad, Foullah, Al Karamah, Togolais, Ferrovario and Bitam at the very least will be permanently in the red now.

Afraid so - It must have been either the previous manager or AI who made the deals. AI in particular will try to replicate deals made IRL.

Every deal made then has a 2 month ban. I think it's a rule to prevent managers from making a quick buck.

'Soccer Manager' is a competition which has been in place at www.champman0102.co.uk (http://www.champman0102.co.uk) for many years. The latest game world that we participate in has been our 3rd incarnation of the competition which has now been made open for all to join.

For those who are unaware, Soccer Manager is an online football management game which you play through www.soccermanager.com (http://www.soccermanager.com). On this website, it is possible to create your own "gameworld" made up of teams in divisions where you go through the usual management of a football team such as picking tactics and the buying and selling of players.

We have created our own custom gameworld called 'CM 01/02 - World Soccer Manager' which has a five-tier league system in which three teams are promoted and relegated each season. There are 20 teams in each league so there are 100 teams for you to choose from. There is a unique feel to these leagues because the teams have been selected from each of the top 100 nations in the FIFA rankings. We have then selected a team for that nation who has the highest tally at clubworldrankings.com.

League games are played every Thursday and Sunday. If you are participating in cup competitions, you'll find that these games will take place on a Tuesday. We encourage you to be active and involved in our Soccer Manager league by posting your results in our division threads and any news in the relevant thread in this forum. Keep things interesting!

Be warned! To make things different and far more challenging, there are a few rules in place:

1) You will be starting with a blank squad regardless of who you select as your team. If you are joining the league later on down the line, you may find that the CPU has filled the squad out.
2) You will only have £20,000,000 to spend. Again, this will have changed if you join the league after its inception.
3) You must not have any more than 25 players in your squad. That includes youth players and players out on loan. We will be keeping an eye on squad limits and expect you to stick to it!
4) You must select a team from Division 4 or 5. You must work your way up! If there are no teams available in Division 4 & 5, you may then apply for a Division 3 side.

To join, you will need to create an account at www.soccermanager.com (http://www.soccermanager.com). Once you have done so and are logged in:

1) Click on the "Clubs" tab on the navigation bar near the top of the page.
2) You'll then need to click "Add Club".
3) On the far right of the navigation bar, click "Club Search".
4) Type in the following into the "Game World ID Number Search" field: 327097.
5) You should then see "CM 01/02 - Soccer Manager" appear. Click on this.
6) A window will then open where you can see detailed information about the game world and the teams who are available to manage. Click on the club you wish to take over.
7) Once you have done the above, I will then need to accept your application so make sure you let me know you have done so in this thread so I know who you are and to accept it.
8) I'll confirm that your application has been accepted in response to your post in this thread and will update the list below.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU POST IN THIS THREAD IF YOU HAVE MADE AN APPLICATION AND LET ME KNOW WHICH CLUB YOU HAVE APPLIED FOR.

No, loan players don't count. If you get down to 21 players then unless you get a massive cup draw, you ain't getting out of debt.

It's quite frustrating really because the game world is actually set to 'rich economy' and yet the clubs at this level don't see much investment.
