    Alright lads, you're offices have been updated with the awarded points.

    Please post any point spending in your offices and remember to look at the attribute values in the GK save game editor. When you say "Passing +1" for player X, I will up the value in the GK editor which can differ from the value you see ingame (CA15 related stuff).

    Als note that the deadline is set for two weeks from now for both point spending and lineup submitting. This is to give you time to do your stuff and not stress anyone out. I will run the month earlier when the last person has submitted, but at the last after the deadline has passed

    I've posted the results of August in the season 1 thread and will update your offices tomorrow with the points as I'm exhausted right now and I want to go sleep soon.

    Please wait with submitting your squads until I've allocated the points.

    Alright all your offices have now been updated and the points awarded! So now it's time to spend points and submit again for the September month. The deadline to do so is Tuesday 15th May 18:00 GMT, but I will run it as soon as everyone has submitted.

    A few quick questions. When we're hiring staff etc do we use the save file to see who's available? (and what if they reject terms - do you transfer them using the editor?). Is it done on a first come first serve basis?

    You'll have to use the save file to see who's interested in joining you and then post it up in your office like Erkifino did here as an example. You can only offer for staff that are interested in joining you so check first if you can actually offer them a contract.

    I don't like the first come, first serve principle so if multiple managers offer for the same staff member I will offer the same amount of wages and let the him decide who he wants to join. I'll report back if you've managed to attract a staff member and only then the points will be deducted.

    Unfortunately I can't make any transfers in the editor (only CM Explorer can, but that will cause problems that will make the savegame unstable so I'm staying away from that one) so we'll have to do it this way.

    Boo! So can I put in a back up bid? I'd really like to get two coaches in this update.

    To be honest I had to offer Beale 2000 in game as there were a host of other clubs interested in him.

    I think this whole attracting staff thing might become too much of a hassle so I've decided on the following:

    If you want staff you can post it up in your office, but you don't have to name a specific person. Just post up: I want to hire a assistant manager/coach/physio and I will hire a random staff member and will up his attributes in the editor. The costs in points for hiring staff are in the OP of your offices.

    Ass Man's will have a Coaching Outfield, Coaching GK and Tactical Knowledge value of 20.
    Coaches will have a Coaching Outfield and Coaching GK value of 15.
    Physio's will have a Physiotherapy value of 20.

    This will save me a lot of time trying to do deals that might even fail if bigger teams swoop in.

    Don't be sorry mate as it's good to get it sorted. Can't do everything on my own so I'm happy with your thinking along!

    Scouting is useless so I'll remove them from the costs list. Players that will be bought will go through auctions so no need for scouting.

    I'll boost the existing coaches to 15 tonight before running the month.

    I know because I'm not decided on this yet.

    Adding transfers/auctions to this will add to the fun, but will also give me more workload. And I'm still in doubt if we should do it or that we should just stay at developing the players that we've got.

    Developing players I think. Then maybe at the end of the season we can use points to recruit a new player? The amount of points used equals quality. For a CA 50/ PA 100 you need 150 points saved

    What happens when players are demanding new contracts? Does that come under "remove unhappiness" and will cost us points?
