    Hi Nick, few things

It still won't let me patch Southern or Premier division for non league, it will let me do the North, but gives me an error on the other 2

I still can't create a network game, this issue was resolved in Saturn Versions 6 & 7, so either him or Ray could assist. Basically, in any version of CM, to create a network game, compatibility must be either Windows 95 (if Win 8/10) or Windows NT 4.0 (if Win 7) as you know, neither of these. Now when attempting these, game can't be created, like theres a block somewhere, like I said, this was resolved very recently

Also, are you able to incorporate the ruling that you cant bid for players on loan? like in Saturn patches?

Never the less, great work, presets all gone, so wicked

Nick, this was the problem and fix Saturn discovered which was messing with the not creating network games: https://champman0102.co.uk/showthrea...421#post431421.

    Simply amazing.

Just one question: is it possible to change league structures like Tapani cmpatcher-3.12? (Brazilian league with 20 teams, etc?)

I could be wrong but are you refreshing your .exe each time you attempt these changes? I'm sure I read a while ago (which may have changed) but you can't repatch the .exe as far as I know.

I think Mark might be right Offside, please try from a fresh install. The way to use my patcher is:
    1) Fresh Install of CM0102
    2) Apply Official Patch 3.9.68
    3) Apply any Data Updates
    4) Load up my Patcher
    5) Hit Save - that will save all the Data files and CM0102.exe separately, so you can restore back to exactly this point in the future
    6) Then apply the patch

If you want to change anything after that, load up the patcher, click Restore, then apply the patch again.

The Network game issue was introduced into Saturn's patches by a patch he added in Version 6 (French joker window removal.patch) and was subsequently fixed. My patcher has never had this patch (nothing gets applied that cannot be selected in the interface), so nothing from my patcher should affect Network Games.

"are you able to incorporate the ruling that you cant bid for players on loan? like in Saturn patches?"
I could, but I don't think it's a popular option - so I don't think I will be adding it. It's easy to add in afterwards by downloading Saturn's patches and applying the Loan_players_purchase_protection.patch to the Exe from the Apply Patch section in Tools of my patcher.

"is it possible to change league structures like Tapani"
Changing League structures is easy enough, but I try not to do it in my patcher as to change the size of the league you have to add/remove teams from leagues - knowing which team to do that to would change with time. Maybe I'll try and add an easy tool to do it sometime.

    Cheers,
    Nick

    Thanks, mate.

I got used to play with the cmpatcher-3.12 by Tapani, that's why I asked you. Loved the possibility of "force load all players", the game start year and the "Currency inflation", but the league structures are important to me because of the changes in Brazilian league.

    Thanks again.

You couple of gems - worked a treat, after abit of frustration - I ent gonna lie, I think what always conflicts for me, is the renaming of the exe, due to wanting to have multiple CM's installed, so for this one, I've left as is, and will keep SV7 & ODB as my only other alternatives

All systems go, so my save on Kings Lynn will begin today, really appreciate all the work you put in Nick, i do have a couple ideas for you, long shots though -

Could you put the bid/none bid for loans, as a Tool option, like you have for EEC Hack etc...

    Couple of rookie questions now,

So starting in Southern Premier Central, will it work as is, that 3 are promoted to conference?

I've worked out the patcher now, as you suggested, if i create another restore point, will it matter, or should I leave it as the initial one I made?

    Latest version:
    https://github.com/nckstwrt/CM0102Patcher/releases

    v1.14:
    * Adds all the Saturn patches as options to add (Experts Only! Don't use unless you know what you're doing!)

DO NOT USE THIS NEW SATURN PATCHES OPTION (UNDER TOOLS) UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

The Patcher now has an embedded zip file with all of Saturns patches in it and lists it out as below to allow you to add whatever bits you want. Applying them randomly like this will most likely break your CM0102.EXE!!! So only use if you know the patch will be safe to apply to your CM0102.exe

EDIT: Just realised I should have really asked Saturn before doing this!! @Saturn: if you want this removed, please just shout and I'll scrub the release.

A league structure tool would be amazing - I could finally fix the A-League!

    Hi Nick,

I'm really looking forward to trying your patch out. Have you got a brief description anywhere about each option and what it does? There are a few that I'm not 100% sure exactly what they do. Thanks.

@JonBetts: Hold your mouse over each option and it should pop up a little tooltip explaining what it does. But it's never a bad option to go with the view of "if you don't know what an option does, or why you need it - you probably don't need it "

@djole: I take whatever help I can get

Thanks Nick! I was planning on downloading the patcher later in the week, so I didn't know that there was a hover notification on each option as I haven't used it yet. Thanks for letting me know!

Nice vid - not sure if it would have made it clearer to some people if you showed the actual patch (i.e with all the options etc) as well

gio did marvelous wonders in his Brazilian mod league patch, changing German league cup in brazilian cup or something like that....there is a post where he explains how to load one competition to a different country...i posted yestarday in offset thread my recent findings regarding domestic and international cups...

your patch seems to me offers great potential when it comes to league patching....instead of manual editing always for each update, storing all .exe changes for certain league in one patch file is a great thing....once created league patch with hundreds of olly changes can be saved and applied in a matter of seconds on new update....if you can build something like this that would be amazing...

other thing,if you can ,i could suggest you to build data inserter...for inserting players, stuff, stadiums, cities and clubs right from .xls or .csv file....
there are few inserters available here on forum, i think new tool, with modern and easier UI will bring enlightment...

    thanks for your work!

I don't mind at all, work away!

Your patcher is great, very straightforward and easy to use. I really like the sort of programs that people like yourself, JohnLocke, Archie and others take the time to create - tools that the community will be able to use long after their final release.

I'm impressed with the Welsh league replacement too. If some of the addresses and things are still fresh in your memory and it still interests you, perhaps try having a poke around Tapani's last 3.xx patch. In it he managed to have both the Northern Premier and the Welsh Premier Division available.

I didn't realise that until I nearly finished it based on his 2.19 work. Wish I'd started there! I definitely want to - but need to have a day free to get into the thick of it, never even tried a 3.xx patch before. Doing it from 2.19 was interesting enough, realising that:
    Code:
     005751FD |. 8BB8 A0050000 MOV EDI,DWORD PTR DS:[EAX+5A0]
Is a hard coding to the Northern, rather than southern or any other league, was not easy for me to spot

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is 1400 * 900 the highest resolution I can go to, or is there a way of going higher?

Whats the correct patching order (want to use most from the patcher + referee patch)?
Do I first apply the patcher and than load referee patch?

@mike: order does not matter for that part - either which way is fine.
