I am here trying to get some training in. It is hard trying to juggle a second job at the same time. Wish I could say I deserve a new contract and a pay increase but gaffer would sling me right out the door after my performances

The 16 and 9 are the wrong way around if I was to analyse in real life

Good point and good cameo from yours truly too.

Unavailable: Dom (1 month), pyromyst (1 month), ZanSnake (3 weeks), dweatherston11 (1 day).

    Season 5 - Championship - A - Middlesbrough - 0:2.

After a hard fought point at the Liberty Stadium, the Vipers are quickly back in action with a third game in the space of a week and a squad that's being stretched to its limit. The quartet of dweatherston11, ZanSnake, Dom and pyromyst remain unavailable through injury and following the last game, riise is in desperate need of a rest too having been forced to play through the fatigue and out of position too at right wing.

Fortunately, The Gaffer is able to offer riise a rest for this game thanks to the return of ebfatz who will play out of position this time to cover for ZanSnake. An additional change in midfield also takes place as Spectral replaces evesham having registered a 6.

Meanwhile, the entire back four should also have been changed but thanks to dweatherston11 not quite being fully fit yet and Dom also out injured, both Dermotron and samsami have kept their place as drkshadow1 and PedroM come in for trunky and Effiong unmarked!.

    KICK OFF!
1 - SAVED! grianaig turns away a shot from Renton after a knock-down from Friend.
6 - SAVED! Fry loses control of a ball which sees Redknapp69 pounce then shoot at goal only for Randolph to get his fingertips to it.
13 - SAVED! Howson swivels on the ball and shoots with fury but grianaig saves and holds it well.
19 - SAVED! Dermotron gives away a free-kick after a shove on Clayton. Braithwaite puts the ball in and Shotton gets up to head at goal but grianaig saves it agai.
20 - OVER! Assombalonga knocks down a cross from Frost and Clayton volleys it over the bar.
24 - WIDE! Friend heads a cross from Howson down and Frost shoots but puts it wide.
42 - OVER! Assombalonga gets free in the area to meet a Shotton cross but his volley goes over the bar.
    HALF-TIME!
49 - SUB! A double change for the visitors as Clayton and Batth come off for Iorfa and Fletcher.
52 - GOAL! Middlesbrough get their goal at last as Howson aims a cross at the far post and Fletcher gets there first ahead of grianaig to score.
59 - SUB! A third change for Middlesbrough as Mally replaces Frost.
60 - SUB! Two changes for the Vipers as Spectral and London35 are replaced by gazzas1uk and riise.
70 - GOAL! Dermotron manages to put the ball out for a throw-in from a corner but Shotton throws it b ack into the play, with Assombalonga picking it up and sending it to the near post where Fletcher runs through unmarked to double the lead.
74 - SUB! The last change of the game as AJ comes off for Bevchenko.
79 - SAVED! Braithwaite takes the ball on his right foot and aims for the top corner but grianaig flies wide to tip it away.
87 - GOAL! Friend takes a free-kick, aiming into the box where Malley heads in his first Middlesbrough goal.
90 - SAVED! Braithwaite is pushed by drkshadow1 to win a free-kick. He has a go himself but grianaig is there to parry it.
    FULL-TIME!

A very poor performance for an out-of-sorts Vipers who manage just one shot

NEXT UP - Yet another game coming thick and fast, this time away at Wigan.

    Horrific result

1 shot we had - ONE SHOT!

Well and truly beaten on the day

Looks like I put in a decent stint personally and tried to make things happen but alas not our day today

I'm glad grianaig keeps his place - didn't deserve to be on the end of a 3-0 hiding!

Doesn't look as though we played that badly looking at the number of passes made/completed compared to theirs. Lack of shots aside obviously.

Personally not bad either. Made the only key pass of the match, won both my tackles and I'll take a 7.

    Back on the horse boys.

We had 1 shot at goal!! What was our midfield doing? Where was the long ball from out of defence? Guys, really, we need to talk this out over drinks. Perhaps a midseason fieldtrip? To, dare I say, Pievagina?

No, but you made it to the bench last time due to a lack of numbers in the squad. Bevchenko is still ahead of you in the pecking order as a substitute so there wasn't a need for two strikers on the bench with others back in the squad to provide cover in other areas on the pitch. Thought it was self-explanatory really

Damn we need those out injured back and less awol, the whole team needs a rested and get back on track.

Poor game only one shot the whole game shows we need to find a bit of stability somewhere.

Onto the next game I suppose.
