How to Install Championship Manager 97/98 on a Modern PC

So here we go, here's how to play Championship Manager 97/98 on a modern PC.

You'll need to download two things - a copy of the game from CMScout (https://www.fmscout.com/a-championsh...-download.html) and a copy of DOSBox
    (https://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1).

    OK, here we go.

    1. Ensure that you have enough space on your computer to handle a couple of saves.

    2. Install DOSBox and ensure that you have a desktop shortcut (this bit is vital.)

    3. Copy the unzipped game folder titled cm9798 into your Program Files v86 folder.

    4. Locate the CM2E16 exe file to load the game with 3 playable leagues, and drag it over onto the DOSBox shortcut on the desktop.

    5. When the game has fully loaded, press ALT and ENTER and it will launch in full screen.

    6. Start a new game and away you go, games will save normally.

    Enjoy!

NOTE - Disc copies of the game won't work on modern PCs.
