"The" is ignored, so that would be 'S' I'm afraid!

Was at a houseparty once, high as a kite... a girl put on this tune, I fell in love with her on the spot... we talked all night, never saw her again...

Saying 'who cares' and 'get over it', when there's a system in place that you for some reason can just never stick with, regardless as to what that system may be.

Just stick to it and you'll be fine instead of behaving like a 5 year old brat.

    So, V it is!

Visual Audio Sensory Theatre, or VAST. Their style is all over the place, but is mainly somewhere in the alt-rock landscape. This track came out in 2004 and has been a favourite of mine ever since. There's just something about that chorus and those chords. Give it up for Jon Crosby and VAST everybody!

Not sure all this pomp-Metal is my cup of tea, info0, but that's the fun of a thread like this, listening to some stuff I would never normally have a clue about. I'm assuming my kids are going to blaring that stuff out of their bedrooms in a few years, lucky me. Going to invest in a set of high end, noise cancelling cans
Haha worry not, need to dig through my playlist.

Fell in love with this song when I first heard it. It's one of my GO TO songs .

As every kindergarden classer knows, X is for Xmal Deutschland! More than just a German version of Siouxsie and the Banshees (lazy comparison).

Here's a cheerful little New-wavey ditty for your enjoyment.

Or course, I did have a *thing* for singer Anja Huwe as a young teen, which no amount of theorising about hairy armpits from my classmates could truly diminish.

I could've picked Zero, which is an excellent song, but I was obsessed with Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs when I was younger! The girl from YYYs was going out with the main guy in a band called Liars; Maps actually stands for My Angus Please Stay as it's about their breakup.

It's also sampled on Meet Me Halfway by Black Eyed Peas, which I also love

My favorite band Dream Theater playing their 1992 smash hit Pull Me Under. Actually their only "hit"! Rest of the catalogue is awesome though, check them out if you haven't already.

I had completely forgotten about VAST. Reminds me of living in Germany at this time where a lot of people I knew were really into it. 15 years ago, you say?
