Being Australian, I naturally get obsessed because of how shit the NRL is.

Been a diehard Hawks supporter for years now, "riding the bumps with a grin".

    Who do you barrack for?

I watch AFL by 5 years and like to watch on Magpies, GWS and Power. Also I post predictions on my blog.

In this season Geelong Cats looks very good, I think they have good chances to win the title.

Congrats on going for the 4 most disliked teams in the league

When I return home from my holiday I'll explain.

An apprentice surgeon entered the theatre as a kidney surgery was about to commence on a male from Melbourne.

Strangely, he noticed a cork jammed up the man"s rear. As he removed it it started to blare a song....

    "Good old Collingwood forever..."

Instantly he shoved the cork back in there and silence returned.

His accomplice enters the room, and the apprentice asks about the noise

"Oh not to worry, I get that all the time!" he stated

The apprentice looked back at him, puzzled.

"I hear assholes sing that song all the time!"

Just kidding mate, welcome to the forums

Today was very interesting game. Hawks vs Cats. Cats are very strong now, I think they have good chances to win the title this year.

Don't get excited. They played a Hawthorn team with 5 20 year olds. They're not gonna compete with Richmond and West Coast etc etc

Too early to make pick a winner yet. Ill say West Coast, but that's just a guess at the moment

Only picking up on this thread now.... here's another massive friend of Aussie Rules. Absolutely loving it since stumbling across the sport a few years ago - how could I live most of my life without it? Totally addicted these days: have the 'Watch AFL' subscription (can highly recommend), so Saturday and Sunday mornings are usually AFL mornings in my house, most of the time watching the final quarter of most games! Over time I even converted to friends; who are now passionately following. Also my dad, when he's over visiting me, is now asking: "will we watch war game with the egg ball again?".

I'm supporting the Sydney Swans and reluctantly admit to have a man crush on Buddy Franklin..... wasn't he fantastic on Sunday against West Coast?! Even though no finals for the Swans this year, the future is incredibly exciting with all the young talent coming through. Also loved the news of another young Irish talent signed with the club last week.

Two years ago I had the chance to travel over in Australia and took the opportunity to watch more than handful of games all over the country. Absolutely loved it. If Australia wouldn't be so damn far away I'd come more often. Have a few photos from those games up on my site as I also shot a NEAFL and WAFL game during the time if anyone interested have a look: Aussie Rules Photos.

I liked it when I was younger, I was a Hawthorn fan for no apparent reason. I haven't watched it for years and it used to be brutal, prefer the NRL now
