Thread: Magpies go cheap, cheap.

So you turned down Malinovskyi's request to leave? He seems to have knuckled down a bit anyway, scoring not many games later.

You're above Spurs! Can't be bad.

Well spotted, he never seemed to play a poor game too often.

    Ruslan Malinovskyi (AMC) attributes

Plus Malinovskyi's wages are just 14k compared to the fella he replaced Almrion.
If I remember correctly Almiron was on 30k (Now on 28k at Wolfsburg)

    Miguel Almiron (AMC) attributes

There is actually not much between the two players except that Ruslan is a bit stronger, and is better at set pieces by a distance.

Miguel Alimiron (AMC) v Ruslan Milanovskyi (AMC) - Comparison

With all the trouble Ruslan was causing and the fact his attributes look decent, I am determined to stick with him.

My hope is he would settle down and do what Cantona did for Man United.

I don't know how Ferguson had the patience in fairness.

But at the same time the squad seems very inconsistent, a proper barometer the real life Newcastle team I think.

Heads seem to drop when the going gets tough lose a few games, and you have to build them back up.

    Helluva update!

    I like the new formation

Rondom is a beast and needs to be up top on his own - should pay benefits

How was Perez playing that deep?

CM looks a sketchy area that in time needs improving

Dubravka now first chocie keeper or mixing it up?

Perez was supposed to be the fella to break forward from central midfield,.
While the other fella Shelvey/Diame would sit and create not move at all
Perez is not very good in that role for some reason - which is why Ruslan Malinovskyi took over that role
You are right though the straightforward CM quality is dodgy and inconsistent to say to the least - Diame/Shelvey/Longstaff.

The keeper situation is all over the place not as strong as it would first appear.

Left with 'Daydreaming' Dubravka, 'Dodgey' Darlow and 'Flakey' Freddie Woodman.

Woodman generally becomes boss like in game. Takes a while though.
Some very up and down results in there. Poor defeats and amazing victories.

I bet Kenedy won't be very welcome back at Chelsea after scoring against his parent club!

Great results against Chelsea and Spurs but some poor results as well. I think managing that squad mid table would be a decent finish

Considering the restrictions, that is a great performance. Despite the wage savings, the incomers appear to be performing better than those who left

Arrow on DC (Coady) in the 3-5-2 scares me!

Outrageous bad luck with the GK injuries (oh, just read about the training )

Good wins against Chelsea and Spurs but a little shaky elsewhere.
