Only on the early stages of playing it but it's been so enjoyable. Currently playing with Juventus and enjoying it a lot! I only started following football a bit later than this but I've read a lot about these years.
Milan has such an unreal squad! Will play with them obviously in the future.

Been dominating in Italy for the past 2 years but CL has eluded me so far. The level of my defence wasn't the same as others and paid the price. Hopefully this year I'll get it

Right so after I posted the previous update, started the season and reached November where the qualifiers for the euro 96 were decided. The portuguese national team didn't qualify, the job became available and I got the job maintaining the Juventus one.
With Juventus another league title was added and eventually won the CL with an easy win over Milan

After the final I asked the board for more youth investment and they reminded me "your job is to be manager and to not be involved with the business side". So I resigned.
Eventually the Liverpool job became available and I took it. The squad was massively underachieving and badly built with loads of strikers and no quality defenders and to top it all with a massive debt.
It's been eventful so far and the transfer market next season will be interesting with me securing lots of free transfers and hopefully strengthen the squad. Its been good fun!

Right so after my previous update, I managed to win the league eventually and the league cup (playing non wibwob). Lost in the final to Man U, when I was well beaten. Just gives me something to look for next season and it's a trophy I definitely want to win.
Like I mentioned on my previous post this summer was always gonna be busy with the squad I inherited. And I can say I'm happy with what I came up with. Here's two screenies of my deals so far:

The fullbacks are a cause of concern for me but want to make sure I make good deals taking into account my finances and how I want to balance them. The board injected some money which I was happy with but want to keep the balance and improve in the future. Some of you will notice that my squad is quite young as well so I want to work from there.

It's been such fun this save!

Time doesn't stop in Liverpool and this means I have a mid season (sort of) quick update to share.
I'm currently in March and still in the 4 competitions. Cup rounds have been gentle with me and I've been able to win more or less comfortably my games. But I think sooner or later I'll have to make priorities as my defence simply isn't strong enough in terms of depth. My full backs are a cause of concern and I was forced to bring a 31 year old Ferrara for 9 million to bring some quality and balance the squad. Definitely wasn't in my plans to spend that much but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to improve his team eh? It's been addressed for next season (more on that at the end of the season).

An enormous amounts of draws for me where I constantly was better and then suffer a late min equalizer or simply couldn't break down a defence. Also a certain mr. Crouch (imagining him doing his robot dance...) has been very annoying against me, scoring 4 goals meaning Tottenham beat me on the 2 games. Also Man. U has lost points recently which means I now have a "safe" 6 points lead.
Being in March means the WC draw has been done already and I'd have liked to have a less tricky group: https://imgur.com/LPwvw8W
I'll do a separate update just before the competition starts where I'll show the 23 players that I'll take.
And that's it for now! I've enjoyed this a lot and I've also downloaded all of your 00-01 stuff, either from here or Nick's portfolio. (I have the 89 update on hold at the minute because all my CM time has gone into this career)
