    It's been 84 years

Man, has it been that long? I haven't played champ in about 5 years! this will not stand and I remember THIS is the place for Champ manager gubbins. Also, my lad is now 10 and ready for the BEST GAME EVER. I recently bought a new laptop so have returned to see if it still a case of:

    get free disk image
    get virtual drive
get the 2 BEST patches of all time
consider updating to current teams but ultimately decide against it
Boot it up, randomly blind pick a team and end up with Apoel Nicosia

Now before you get all 'fuck this guy, cheeky bastard', I have posted before and I always donate when I return LOL it's just been fucking years.

    edit:

    Jeebus Christ, 53 notifications!!?!?!?

If you've got Windows 10 on that shiny new laptop, you don't even need the virtual drive.
Just right click on the iso once downloaded and mount.

Is the 'run as administrator' or 'select version of windows to open in' still a thing? I've still got the ISO from back in the day

    Run everything as windows mate

Compatability - select XP 2 or 3 usually best

As long as you have the same setup then you can use the old save games

i.e if the Peterbrough save was from March 2020 database you need that installed and run from that .exe

If Coventry was from original database hen you need to have that installed and run from that .exe etc

HA HA! Top notch. I'll have to see what I can do, I'm not sure they aren't CM3 saves TBH. I think the Cov save was on the 4th generation of players

Cheers everyone, seems to work right off the bat. Didn't even need to get a virtual drive, these new fangled laptops can mount ISO's via Win10, what an age we live in.

Just gonna run a few test seasons as Cov to see how it plays out, I think last time I played this there was a slight tendency for it to do the 'memory' error after about a season and a half.

Yeah but 'tech gubbins' is not my thing and I only believe stuff when I see it (working) and my laptop isn't on fire.
