    Game closes on its own

    Morning all!

    So I really need help with my game as it shuts down on its own (no error message) 28/jan.

    Its the original database with a few edits and the patcher applied.

    Tried holidaying past the due but it still crashes!

    USA/France league loaded?

    If so, known to cause issues without the Saturn/Tapani patch etc

    The French league is in the background yes. Is there any fix or is my game lost?

    28/10/05 is the date it just randomly closes. Tried taking over as a French side to see if that may help but still crashes on the same date 😔

    Not sure it is the actual reason for the crash but for sure knows to cause issues

    You mention Jan and Oct dataes as well

    But I'd suggest that if you are playing without a Tapani/Saturn/Nick patch to not include USA or France as leagues if starting a new game

    Devastated. Was just turning my Braga team into real contenders aswell 😭

    Yeah its the October date it crashes on..

    Upload the save somewhere and ideally the exe + data you are using too and PM me the details to download it and I can take a look.

    Go to a file sharing sit

    example - mediafire or sendspace

    upload your save game

    pass Nick the link

    As part of the upload if you can upload the .exe (little football icon where you launch the game) and the data (data folder)

    Hi. Sorry this is my first time doing this, when on sendspace and I have to upload my save game how do I locate it? I thought it would be in cm01/02 in programe files on my C drive but it isn't....thanks!

    search for it on your computer (i.e use the search box in bottom left) - then note the path/folder it's in

    or load up your CM and click restore game - it will show the path there

    Then - go to sendspace and upload the save game from wherever the path is

    More info - this is the second time this has happened this is actually a different game I started after it happened first time. Also the French league is NOT loaded on this game..

    @Toon: Can you upload your cm0102.exe and Data directory too? Otherwise I can't really replicate what is happening to you

    Well thats a folder consisting of all the files you would normally have in your data folder

    Its the original database with a few edits and the patcher applied.
    Sometimes it is those edits that are causing the issue So upload it if you can and will take a look.

    Actually - did you set the date to 2002 rather than 2001? Think that's the issue - it's causing the World Cup to crash. My patcher should support that - so will check why it didn't. But I think that's the primary issue.

    EDIT: Also - what version of my patcher are you using? Just tried setting to 2002 with my latest patcher, ran a season and all worked well.
    Use the latest: https://github.com/nckstwrt/CM0102Patcher/releases
    Reinstall Champ Man 0102 from scratch
    Start again and you should be good

    Yeah it is starting in 2002, I guess that means my current save game cannot be saved?

    Normally it runs fine for like 3 seasons THEN crashes in the fourth. Maybe that's to do with the world Cup?

    I think il download your latest patch start in 2001and go on holiday for a day to see if it gets passed 4 seasons!
