Some of you will be familiar with Series 1 and Series 2 of Are You The Next...

If you were involved in that until the end, you have 1 week to confirm your place in Series 3.
So If you are in the Spoiler, you have a place reserved for 1 week.

There are at least another 5 slots available. And Maybe More Depending who from the Previous Series carries on.
So also get your player in, the first 5 will automatically be accepted.

However. Things are different in this Series. And Majorly so.

I am using the Newest September Update.

There are a maximum number of players per position.
So you will have to look at which positions have been filled before applying.
Or you can let a random generator decide your playing position. So just leave it blank if u wish to do that.

So there is a Maximum of :
6 Strikers or Forwards
6 Midfielders.
6 Defenders or Keepers.

Also, this time, more leagues are being run.
16 to be exact.

Argentina, Brazil, Japan, USA, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Wales and Spain.

You are allowed to choose ANY team in ANY division in ANY country.
So no Restrictions this time.
But you can also leave this to fate and let either the Team or Country, or both be randomly generated.
So let me know.

You will be given points to put against the main attributes but also the Mental and Hidden Attributes.

Pick a day and Month of birth too. All players will be born in 1982.
Also pick a 1st and 2nd Nationality. This again can be randomly generated…..

You have 280 points to put against the 31 main attributes..

NO ATTRIBUTE CAN BE ABOVE 15 IN THIS LIST.

Injury proneness will be set to 1.

I will set every players Current Ability, Potential Ability, Current Reputation, Home Reputation and World reputation the same as everyone else's.
And these will be increased over time….

You will be given a 4 year contract.

There will still be 2 updates per season.
One as near to the 1st January as Possible.
And one around the 24th July.

There has been a complete overhaul of the points system.
This is the major change to Series 3.

YOU WILL NO LONGER BE GIVEN POINTS

Instead you will use your wages to buy things.

And you will be able to buy points for attributes, but only at the end of each season. (So in the JULY Updates) You will be able to buy a Maximum of 10 points per season.

Each Club appearance will increase your Home Reputation by 1 at the end of each season. So 50 appearances means 50 points to your Home Rep.
Each International appearance will increase your World Reputation by 5 at the end of each season. So 10 International games, means 50 points to your World Rep.

Domestic Competition Wins will increase your Home Reputation by 40.
European or Continental Wins will increase your Current Reputation by 75.
International Call Ups and Winners Medals will increase your World Reputation by 100.

It will be the same with Awards.
A monthly award increases Home Rep by 5 points.
A Domestic Yearly Award increases Home Rep by 25 points.
A Euro / Continental Yearly Award increases Current Rep by 30 points.
A World Award Increases World Rep by 50 points.


[B]At the end of each update, I will work out your wages and they will be added to your bank account.

As the seasons progress things may go up in Price.
But at the end of season 1. Each attribute point will be 4 weeks wages. And you are only allowed 10 points at the end of each season.

You will also be able to buy other things than points.
You can buy reputation.. Again just at the end of the season.
To add 50 points to Home, Current or World reputation will be 4 weeks wages. And a maximum of 5 reputation increases will be allowed per season.

If you are unhappy at your club at any time you can go on the transfer list and it won’t cost you anything.
But you will also have the option to Terminate your Contract. But this will cost you 24 weeks wages.

If you are happy and your contract is expiring in the next 18 months. You have the option to extend the deal by 1 more season and this will cost you 24 weeks wages.

If you are transferred. You will be given 5% of the transfer fee as a signing on fee and this will be added to your Bank Account.

If you wish to Tap up a Club or Manager.
You can do so by changing the Manager or Clubs favourite staff to yourself.
This will cost you 12 Weeks wages.

You can still change your own favourite and disliked staff for free at any time.

You can also pay to insert clauses into your contract at any time.
A Minimum Fee Release Clause at your CURRENT VALUE will cost 16 weeks wages.
A Non-Promotion or Relegation Release Clause at HALF YOUR VALUE will cost 8 weeks wages.

This could help you to get a move, but you will get less signing on fee from the move.


So for an Example….

You could start season 1 at MK Dons.
You would be on £1,000 a week.
In January, the 1st update. You will have made 6 Months Wages. July, August, September, October, November and December.
So you would have £24,000 in your bank. (1,000 x 4 weeks x 6 months)
You are happy, and do nothing.
In March, you are bought by Leicester for £500,000. This gives you 5% of the fee as a signing on fee and your wages go up to £2,000 a week.
So by the update in July. You would have earned £8,000 from the 2 further months wages at MK Dons.
And then £32,000 from your 4 months at Leicester.
So you now have made £64,000 in wages and you made an extra £25,000 in signing on fees. A total of £89,000.
1 point to your attributes is 4 weeks wages, so £8,000.
You decide to buy 5 points and save the rest.
So you add 5 points to Pace and you keep £49,000 in your bank.

By January of Season 2, you have earned a further 6 months wages (£48,000). So you have £97,000.
Leicester are struggling in the league and you want to move to Derby, who are Interested in you.
You put yourself up for sale, which is free, and tap up the Manager of Derby and the Club itself to make you a favourite staff.
This costs 12 weeks wages for each, so a total of 24 weeks, so £48,000. Leaving you £49,000

You then move to Derby that month for £300,000. Earning a £15,000 signing bonus, and your wages stay at £2,000.
At the end of the season, Derby are relegated.
And you want to leave. You earned £48,000 in wages and got a £15,000 singing on fee, and you add that to the £49,000 in the bank, so your Total is now £112,000.
You decide to terminate your contract to speed up a move.
This costs you 10 months wages. So £80,000. You then have £32,000 and so buy 4 points, which costs you £32,000. Leaving you with zero in the bank.
You add the 4 points to Finishing…

And So on……

It may look or sound complicated, but it wont be once its up and running.
You will have a running total next to your Name on the Stats screenshot.
