Noticed when I was sending one of my scouts to search for players that there was an option to see current ability and future? I've never noticed that before. How does that work?

Go to player and staff search screen
Click on the scout who has been scouting
Click on "filters"
Click "current" or "future" on Ability

I play cm 01/02 with 3.9.68 patch - everything is good in terms of update squads (2002/2003 season) but there are wrong teams in Champions League. CL teams are based on 2001/2002 season, not on 2002/2003. For example Milan has new players 2002/2003 but is in UEFA Cup instead of Champions League


I would like to ask if this is normal situation with this patch or something is wrong? Or how to change in editor database Champions League teams?


EDIT: I forgot to tell that i Use tapani patch i changed correct year in tapani patch to start (2002)

I'm amazed that you can remember who was in which competition 18 years ago ! I can't remember what I had for breakfast

The game is still cm01/02, so by default the European qualifiers will be as they were for the start of the 2001/02 season. However it is fairly easy to change them. There are 2 methods

1. Download the TD Euro Editor which allows you to change all of the qualifiers. Remember to run this as administrator
2. Use the notepad utility to edit the euro.cfg file in the data folder

Which ever method you use, you may still need to use the SI game editor to change some of the club history so that the correct teams are shown as the previous seasons 1-7 in Serie A and also the Cup winners, however don't mess around too much as the Italian Cup in particular is very susceptible to changes

I should have added that it doesn’t matter who you put in the Champions League .... Roma will win it !

Thank you very much I changed euro.cgf file and it worked! Well, I remember the who was in Serie A in 2001 and 2002 because I'm a Milan fan and it's a difference between Nesta in the squad or playing without Nesta so it's a big difference actually

Could someone remind me how i can see the course of my team in the league, match by match? I mean, that line that goes up or down or stays straight depending on the team's performance. I must be blind because i searched and i couldn't locate it. It's been years since i used it and i had forgotten about it.
