    FINALLY!!!

Sad that the story has ended but really, it was just an ever-going ticking time bomb, wasting the precious time that another awesome The Eejit story could be started

    HoF!! HoF!! HoF!!

Congrats on an epic story! Somewhere in Hell, there is a special circle reserved for CM addicts where they are forced to play as Man Utd over and over and over ...

Once you have regained your sanity, I would love to hear which players you would select for your all-time Man Utd team (first eleven with substitutes) from your years as Old Trafford's manager.

    Huzzah!! It's done!!

    but also

    Booooo! It's done!

    Epic adventure. Epic story.
Very well done for finishing another great great story.

Fergie retires to a massive bottle of whisky somewhere in the sun?
Or stays around at Old Trafford to be a burden to his successor?

    Excellent news!

Congratulations on your epic achievements, and well done on just having the patience to stay! No one should have to manage Man Utd for that long!

    I second the HOF nomination!

Whoooooooooooooooooooop, I've just caught up and absolutely chuffed for you that you've finally set out to achieve everything you wanted to!

Great stuff mate and a short but sweet ending to the story in that last update.

Hope you give yourself a little break now to play some games for fun before returning with another story for us all to follow!

And AMC lived happily ever after

I feel like crying, absolutely fantastic mate, as Mark says give yourself a much needed break then get back to killing me off in another story

HOF is a certainty, once again I'll leave it in here for a bit and then move it.

    Kudos once again mate

Can I extend that to an XI from all the teams you've managed, an overall one I mean, not one for St. Mirren, Aberdeen etc

Firstly, can I thank everyone who posted encouragement to keep me going. This was a bit of a slog, particularly towards the end and I would have given up long ago if I was doing this just for myself.

I'll see what I can do, but it might take a while to go back through some old saves (I have a save from the end of every season). I'm sure that there are many players who I have forgotten about who probably deserve a mention. (There will also be some who are unlikely to surprise - Rankin, Craig, Almond, Calder). It will also be hard to name a first 11. 3 central midfielders there already ! In the meentime, here are sum numbers that show the problem - 351 players bought !

AMC - I did promise you a reward for helping Scotland to beat England instead of a death. I was going to have you awarded BBC Sports Personality - Unsung Hero award, with an unprecidented number of votes trom North of the border, but completely forgot to write it up. There were quite a few minor plots that I completely forgot about in the last few seasons !
