Kheireddine Zetchi is the new president of the Algerian Football Federation. He must decide who'll be the new head coach of the National Team. Local newspapers said that Kheireddine likes a lot the "spanish style" and coaches like Marcelino, Escriba and Juande Ramos are the favourites, although the list is very big with many other candidates: Rolland Courbis, Claudio Ranieri and Belmadi. According to algerian rumours Rolland Courbis' chances are very low.

Yes and it is a little surprise because Juande Ramos, Garrido and Caparros were considered the favourites by Algerian specialists.

Montpellier striker Andy Delort has become the latest former France youth international to commit to playing for an African nation at senior level, opting to represent Algeria.
The 27-year-old was born in France and played for the Europeans at under-20 level and as a beach football international.
But the former Wigan Athletic forward revealed to French journalists on Monday that he is drawn to his maternal side and is working on switching allegiance to Algeria. > Algeria first nationality / France second nationality.
