Haha most football leagues are scripted .

People always want to watch "shows." Be it fights or anything.

But you're right. Defending in Brazil is poor. Not defenders being poor. The take legs away stuff is apparently visible (you know it's problematic to tackle a dribbler and you fear that if you don't get the ball, he is open for goal).

So they just don't bother at times. Some matches though, watched live, are amazing. Nothing like those highlights make them look (btw Ronaldinho is absolutely class.)

    nr. 1 for me.

wasnt that special this week. how they can have harnik instead of gustavo is beyond me.

also dont get the seedorf goal. let a no-name score that and they wont list it.

add to the goal the context: it was in the overtime and equalized the game!

my jaw dropped the first time I saw Oscar goal. it still does, it's one of those plays you watch over and over.

Neymar is becoming that kind of player that relinquishes not only on superb technique but also on that x factor consisting on the ball wanting to go his way, and that is pure applied physics in motion between his body and his mind. At the same level of great unrecognized mathematics geniuses of the same line, from Pele to Maradona to Messi. To process the quantity of information needed to accomplish that kind of runs with the ball, the brain has to work at a speed rate that no ordinary man can pull.

Oscar goal was nice, but jaw dropping? We must have different views on goals then, which makes it nice .

There were quite a few overhead kicks there this time round.

Traore one is special as he scored 2 of long rangers in one game.

Henry goal was also amazing. Bit lucky, but still, very nice.

Neymar doing what he does in Brazil. As usual.

Hopefully next time round, Ibra gets a showcase. That guy does score incredible goals, almost effortlessly (what he did today was pretty darn good).

yeah, Oscar goal was that good in my eyes. Not only because it was the player in question (up and coming wonder needing to prove the millions spent in him right and ease the pressure), but also because of the apparent simplicity of the shot, even though he had lost touch with the ball for a moment and was turning around from a run. the beauty of the game is in those details

To bring that down first touch and then dink the keeper like that.

    Top Class!

I always think it's great when a keepers scores!
Loads of great goals there but 5 is the bomb. Honourable mention: Pog scored a nice one too!
