    Bevchenko

Like Fodster, Bevchenko is English but had only recently earned an Australian passport before making a quick return to the UK to sign for CM Vipers. Upon his arrival, Bevchenko promised goals from his position as an advanced midfielder but he'll have competition on his hands with pyromyst already at the club.

He used to nail them for my beloved Forest. Always remember him smashing one in from near the half way line against Wolves knocking Hans Segars into the back of the net.

    The Gaffer's Comments
After missing the first friendly of pre-season, Bevchenko has made sure to turn up for the next 49 training sessions which is an astonishing statistic. It has allowed him to make 32 starts as the advanced midfielder and that is in spite of serious competition from ebfatz and pyromyst.

One of the more influential players with 6 assists, I think Bevchenko himself will be disappointed to have only chipped in with 6 goals throughout the season although it is not for the want of trying. Scoring twice and setting up four goals in the first 15 games shows that Bevchenko was full of energy and creativity at the start of the season but despite decent performances, the assists dried up a little as the season went on.

A bit more work on his offensive skills and I'll have no doubt that Bevchenko can go for double figures next season.

Bevchenko is back as an advanced midfielder for season two and his aim is simple. To get more than six goals this season which was a poor return despite 32 starts last year.

    The Gaffer's Comments
A regular behind the front man last season, Bevchenko went on to play an additional three matches this year while also beating his goal tally by two goals. Where he didn't quite reach the same height though was in the assists tally with just 3 to speak of despite being the man tasked with linking up directly with the lone striker. Nevertheless, it has been a slightly improved season for Bevchenko who actually found it difficult to begin with due to the form of Janis89 which kept him out of the side at the start of the season. Still, Bevchenko knuckled down, waited for his chances and took them as he then became the main man with the only blot on his copybook being a red card at Aldershot early on in the season. It is highly likely that Bevchenko will return in the same position and should he do so, hopefully we'll see more assists this time around.

Bevchenko will be out of action for about a week after he suffered a strained wrist in training.

Fortunately, he will only miss one game which will be a league clash against Wycombe.

Has no wish to leave the club unless it is for a Premier League Club, La Liga Club, or Nottingham Forest - of which he hopes to be consulted about the offer.
