    The Gaffer's Comments
This was ebfatz's third season as a right-back and he is certainly looking the best of the current right-backs on the books as a result of his hard work there having initially started out as an advanced midfielder. It looks like it'd be another year of ebfatz manning the fort at right-back on his own as he started the first six games of the season when Craig Forrest and GFRay suddenly arrived and put pressure on him for the first time, meaning that after 89 appearances in the last two seasons, ebfatz started just 25 times though his average rating did improve by 0.01! Injuries didn't help as ebfatz didn't manage to make more than 4 starts in a row after that, picking up a shin injury during a busy Christmas period and also missing 4 weeks with an ankle injury sustained against Swindon but ebfatz did make a goalscoring return against Gillingham which was his only strike of the season, still a better return than last year after failing to score at all! Surely it is only a matter of time now before ebfatz is picked up on Nigeria's radar?

    Season 5 - ebfatz

After starting off as an advanced midfielder with the Vipers, ebfatz has spent the last two seasons as a right back but has returned to his roots in midfield for season five, hoping to add more goals to his game after bagging 7 in 140 appearances.

    But that'll never happen right?!

ebfatz will be out for three weeks after suffering strained knee ligaments in the 0:0 draw against Wigan.

It means the attacking midfielder will miss the next two games against Sheff Wed and Millwall but could just make it back in time for the Stoke fixture.

    The Gaffer's Comments
After three years as a right-back, ebfatz returned to his roots in making the switch to advanced midfield for this season. His tenacity from defence certainly wasn't lost as he was sent off and picked up eight yellow cards throughout the season, missing four games through suspension as well as 4 weeks due to two injuries as well. Despite that, ebfatz still managed to make 30 appearances which has helped him to move up to 4th in the overall appearances list for the Vipers in their history so far. It certainly seemed to take ebfatz a long time to get going this season, which wasn't easy due to not just those suspensions and injuries but also due to heavy competition for the number 10 role. But ebfatz definitely finished the season with a bang, having scored 3, got 1 assist and was named Man of the Match twice in the last five games of the season.
