    BobMem

ozRooster has competition for the number 5 shirt after BobMem joined CM Vipers. It is understood that the English born defender also has a passport that could allow him to play for Cyprus internationally.

I have all the attributes of a great defender.

    Except tackling, marking and positioning...

After starting the first two friendlies for CM Vipers, BobMem looks to have captured the attentions of Ukrainian team Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

No way I'm playing for a team who've been named by mashing the keyboard with their fists.

I'd take that transfer in a heartbeat bob, cheap vodka, cheaper woman.

And when the match fixing inquiries hit, you've got the perfect alibi for playing shit .

Although Dnipro's manager Juande Ramos remains interested in the services of BobMem, Mark Hughes has actually tabled an offer of 180,000 for BobMem on behalf of Stoke City.

The Gaffer refused the offer immediately.

BobMem had a tough start to the season but has completed a remarkable turn around in forcing his way into the starting eleven, taking over as captain and has now been named in the Cyprus Under 21 squad to face Belarus.

    The Gaffer's Comments
Can you believe that BobMem is just one of two players who have actually attended every training session this season, putting himself into selection for the forthcoming fixture? An unbelievable statistic and as a result, I was only too pleased to give him the captain's armband for a run of 12 games during which the Vipers lost just four games.

BobMem has shown a lot of patience this season as he didn't actually start as the first choice in defence. That went to ozRooster and it was only after being given his first league start in the Vipers 6th league game that BobMem grabbed his chance with both hands and went on to make 32 starts while also earning a call up to the Cyprus Under 21 squad although he did not get to make his debut.

One can only hope that BobMem commits to another year at the Vipers and who knows? He may even wrestle that armband away from Dermotron!

Still rockin' some sh*te attributes for a defender. 21 points should fix that though

How are we going to sort out this wrestle for the armband? Cage match, ladder match, casket match?

A stand in captain who made 33 appearances last season, BobMem has the potential to be a key player this season but has a fight on his hands after returning to find two other players wanting his spot in the team.

Positioning for a defender looks good and improving.... I am sure he thinks it refers to the position of the tea bag once Jesuss has finished with him though!!
