I'm rather new to this whol CM0102 business, so I sort of need to ask:
How does one NOT wib-wob? Aren't the WIB and WOB screens used by the engine all the time?
When setting up a tactic, you don't touch the wib-wob screens. As a result you don't get the highlighted halos around any of the players. Fiddling with arrows and player instructions only makes a non-wibwob tactic.
Don't know how to post a screenshot but i'm currently using a 4312 with Milan with just fwd arrows on the full backs & my AMC as a playmaker & its working a treat!!
Quick Tutorial on How to Post a Screenshot
Sorry, but I don't see how that is an answer to my question.![]()
Hi all,
can anyone suggest a good non wib-wob tactic for the lower leagues in England?
I usually play in the EPL but fancy a challenge & tips will be appreciated (inc. team settings etc...)
Thanks![]()
Use any of the default ones and they will prove a challenge
Thanks Fods! Have come across the topic on team instructions so trying to take of the ideas their & mix them with my tac!!
442 default is a good challenge although with a decent Man Utd squad I dominated the EPL
When I started playing CM I mostly used 2 DCs, DML ,DMC, DMR, 2 MCs, AMC, 2 SCs. When I found this site it became clear that 2 DCs was frowned upon though. It wasn't an unbeatable tactic but playing in lower leagues was a challenge for a clueless non-wibwobber. Where I took over a club with no money I'd use the strongest starting XI in a formation that suited them until I could sell a few players to bring in some that suited my formation.
TBH, you should just use trial and error. There'd be times when I would be losing and I'd go gung-ho with three forwards, forward arrows, long ball and sometimes clinch a draw. I never really liked taking over a top team even though I always wanted the top players. If I signed them in their mid 30's I was happy though![]()
4-4-1-1 is my go to setup for lower leagues![]()
Reminded me about 4411 crusade. What a tactic that's was ...
Hey all,
Once again i'm after tactic tips with good old non wib / wob tactics - can anyone point me in the right direction for a go to tactic that will work with most teams & give consistent results?
All my tactics last a handful of games before failing epically...
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
my 4-1-3-2 isn't bad. Non-wib/wobbed. It's consistent and i've done well with it over the last 12 years or so.

Sometimes it depends on what type of players you have in your squad. If your defenders are poor, maybe try playing a formation with 2 at the back. I was fairly successful playing a 2-1-3-1-3 with a shit squad and no money.
Other than that I mainly use a variant of 4-3-3, either with 3 strikers or 2 wingers and a striker. I always have the full backs pushing up to the halfway line.
Have a look in here also- http:// http://www.champman0102.co.uk/showth...uide-by-churky
Thanks guys...
@ Sam - do you find wingers work well in the wide midfield positions?
by which you mean for example Ryan Giggs on 3.68? (AML), if so then yes, they work fine there. on the September 2012 update I won the world cup with England with Scott Sinclair (F RLC) playing on the left side of midfield.
Thanks Sam - i'll check it out![]()
Attacking formation, short passing, offside and pressing on - works with all teams. Back 4 is stronger than back 3 in general - def mid centre is vital - 1 or 3 strikers work better than 2
