    Natural Born Freaks

    Drawing inspiration from the Strength of Attributes thread, how about sharing some screenies of freakishly high attributes? I'm very curious to see how high they can get and the effects that they have in game.

    Here are a few 3.9.68 well known bargains and the secrets of their success:

    Less well known, one of my scouts recommended this guy as part of a youth search and I decided to take a chance on his dribbling

    Chris McConville - he dribbles, he scores. This is the highest attribute value I've seen so far.

    It might be worth reminding those who have forgot, or those who don't know, what is considered a ridiculously high intrinsic value? From your screenshots above I can hazard a guess that around 50 - 90 is the sweet spot for attributes but what is the true value you want to be looking for?

    Edit: your youth player who has great dribbling also has great decisions which will surely influence his ability. A very nice find!

    Over 90 is definitely desirable!! Go to GK's editor and change any strikers movement, dribbling and finishing intrinsic values to 125 and see what happens... If they then don't score atleast 5 goals a game you are doing something wrong!!

    Most intrinsic values I see are 200 or above. Is this looked at as being as a positive or negative effect on the attribute it's assigned to. Apologies if it seems a stupid question, I'm new to these intrinsic values.

    I bought this guy for Athlone for 22k. He always scored a lot of goals, I never knew about intrinsic atts so i'm guessing this is why, pretty high for a league of Ireland player:

    You can get an intrinsic value of 128 if you enter it directly into the editor. Only problem is sometimes after about 2 months of game time the intrinsic value will reset back to it's original value, so you have to go back into the editor to change it again.

    I still dont get this at all, i use gaemes editor all the time, but not for attributes, so there is an intrinsic value from 0-255 but instead of 0 being the lowest and 255 the highest it goes from 129 to 128, looping round at zero at mid-way?


    Is that right? And how does it affect the 1-20 rating?

    Correct. 129 is the worst possible, then it goes up to 255 before resetting back to 0 and going up to 128 which is the best possible value. It affects the 1-20 rating by making it stronger or weaker. Two strikers with similar attributes could have different strengths for their CA related stats. One striker could have a strong value for finishing (see colml's previous post, 83 for finishing is fantastic) and the other could have an average value for finishing. As far as I'm aware intrinsic values only affect the CA related attributes.

    What a wonderful career, he might have been playing in Ireland but that's the sort of return you want from one of your strikers.

    If you've got the ODB, load Tsigalko and Madiera and post them up. Tsigalko is one the best models if you want that ultimate striker.

    Here is Alexandersson's recent career, the Liverpool part playing as one of the three in a non-wibwob 433. As you can see, he was worth every penny of the 18.5M he cost later in his career.

    Alexandersson looks class. I had this guy on the odb with Celta, I'm not sure if he's a regen:



    Is 92 good for finishing, or because its over 90 does that mean its bad?

    92 is very, very good. The scale goes from 129 to 255 before resetting to zero. It then goes from 0 to 128. Anything between 0 and 128 is desirable. 128 isn't achieveable though. 129 is the worst possible intrinsic value.

    I don't understand, why isn't 20 a 20? Why do you have "strong" 20's and "weak" 20's? Since 128 isn't achieveable (why?) I guess 127 would be a "strong" 20 and ...don't know where it ends the other way, but as that guy in the screenshot has 92/20, I guess that's a "weak" 20?

    If you create a player in the official editor and give him a 20 for something, will he be given a random intrinsic value somewhere between 90-127 for that attribute, then?

    Confusing stuff..
