Overview

Championship Manager 4 is a football management game in the Championship Manager series. It was the penultimate game in the series to be developed by Sports Interactive before they and publishers Eidos decided to go their separate ways. The game was released for the PC in March of 2003 and then on the Mac on April 11, 2003. It was hugely anticipated by fans of the series, mainly due to the inclusion of a graphical 2D match-engine for the first time in a CM game, and upon its release it became the fastest selling PC game of all time in the UK.

Features

As usual, Sports Interactive increased the amount of playable leagues - this time including a total of 39 leagues with 88 divisions.

Found a disc I got from a friend of mine ages ago, my computer couldn't run the game at the time though, so I'm playing this for the first time. Anyone know where to get patches etc?

sorry to bump this thread but i have been looking for patch 4.0.5 etc up to 4.0.7 for some weeks now but cant find anyone that works

Dunno if you are still looking but because patches wont work on a cracked exe, you'll need a clean v4.0.1 exe. So download cm4.0.1 from https://www.4shared.com/rar/_YhtZCu8...Manager_4.html and go through setup.

Download v4.0.7 patch from https://www.fileplanet.com/121814/do...4-v4.0.7-Patch and patch the clean exe.

Replace the patched exe with a cracked one from http://www.gameburnworld.com/dl/dl.p...ixedexeEng.rar

I actually preferred this version fully patched at the time instead of cm03/04. After cm03/04 had a few patches the game became ridiculous with even lower league players having lots of 20s for player attributes. cm4 at least was challenging and after the nightmare of bugs and errors on release was a decent game after the final enhancement pack much better game than cm03/04 I think and also more challenging.

I am probably in the minority that think this though

I was just gonna buy the game from cex for 50p but they never have it in stock when i use to check so i downloaded the iso from link below and installed it it comes with crack as well on a seperate file It's a pain in the bum to install though if you have daemon tools already on your system as it cofuses windows how to mount the iso

I tried to play some fm13 yesterday but there is too much going on in it once your brain get's use to playing the old cm's again the FM games just feel annoying

Currently taking a break from cm3 games and fancied playing this last night instead and got really into it 'apart from it being quite slow' with a lot of leagues loaded

Does anyone have any download links for skins and graphics or the speeder for it? was google searching yesterday but most are dead links now

And is it possible to change attribute colours?

started a game with Sporting Lisbon that was some side they had back then

Entire squad littered with 13 and 14 yr old wonderkids

I have some backrounds, you need to put them in your graphics folder in the data folder, main installation directory.
