    1. Where do you live? (Town and Country)

    Istanbul / Turkey

    2. What do you do for a living?

We have a family biz making shoe insoles. I do from managing to carring stuff to driving... anything needed

    3. What football teams do you support?

Galatasaray but I have favorite teams all around, especially Liverpool and Dortmund

    4. Can you remember the first team that you managed in CM01/02? How did you get on?

Can't remember but must be Galatasaray.

    5. Who is your all time favourite CM01/02 player (any update or patch) and favourite in real life?

Remeber Simao Sabrosa was very good in a save. Also remember always buying Iniesta when he was 17 or smt but I might be mixing the versions here. Always bought Nuri Sahin to Galatasaray so I'll say him.

In real life of todays football... meh... lets say Messi for the sake of choosing from 2.

    All time, easy, Ghearge Hagi

    6. What do you consider to be your greatest achievement in CM01/02?

Winning EPL with Vauxhall without any transfers and non wib wob tactic.

    7. If you were an animal, which one would describe you best?

Probably a Dog. I'm loyal to loved ones and naive and happy person

    8. On an average week, how much time do you invest in CM01/02?

When I'm into a save, probably 2-3 hours every midweek night and 10 - 20 hours for the weekend. Nowadays I'm playing other games tho. But I always go back to CM so no worries.

    9. What does your wife/girlfriend/partner think of you playing a 13 year old football game?

She doesn't care. We both have our common and seperate hobbies and stuff. My sister hated it tho. Couldn't understand how I could stare at writings all day and call it a game, a football game.

    10. What other computer/console games do you play?

Tons. Nowadays Skyrim. Since childhood, many Sid Meier games like CIVs and Pirates! and Railroads... Also a Heroes fan, both Might and Magic and Heroes. Football games, from Kick Off 2 to Sensible to Fifa lately, but got a bit bored from it now, maybe becouse I'm playing in 2 matches every week. Shoot am ups and adventures and city building like Tropico and many many more, you name it, i'll play it.

    11. What annoys you most about CM01/02?

Loosing Superkeepers. But as a game, the CA/PA issues of manager and non-random regens

    12. What is your favourite moment in real life football?

Man. Unt 3 - 3 Galatasaray and the winning of UEFA cup.

    13. If you were Sepp Blatter, what rule would you change to make football more interesting?

I'd like to make teams 10 vs 10. If not possible then I'd like to stop that defenders keeping the attackers off a ball when it is going out, you cant probably do that anywhere else on the pitch.

    14. How good a player were you in real life ? What position did you play?

I was very good when young as a forward or 10 but didn't play for about 15 years so now I'm a medicore defender

    15. What other sports do you follow?

Not much but I'd watch any sports word cup, well apart from curling and ski walking and golf and.................

    19. What was the last song played on your iPod (both the one you were going so say to sound cool and the one it really was)?

Don't have one, hate the ITunes so much, my phone has no songs in it. Last listened to Devotchka on the LP, to sound cool that is good but can say Sublime

    20. Who would you like to be interviewed next?

    1. Where do you live ? (Town and Country)

Thorpe Hesley.. A village between Sheffield and Rotherham. England.

    2. What do you do for a living ?

I do Champ Man Stories and the participants pay me money to make them do better in the story.
In my spare time, I work in finance at a Private Hospital...

    3. What football teams do you support ?

The Mighty Blades and Spurs too for some reason...

    4. Can you remember the first team that you managed in CM01/02 ? How did you get on ?

    It will have been Spurs.
Stephen Carr at Right Back if I could resist the offers from Man Utd.
Ziege at Left back - bombing on.
Sell Stephen Clemence to Birmingham everytime.
Build the team around King Ledley.
Get Rebrov to play better than he did in real life.

    5. Who is your all time favourite CM01/02 player and favourite in real life ?

Ronaldo and Ronaldo.. Not the new one. The Fat one.

    What a legend.

    Spoiler!

But if I had to pick an unsung hero... Kennedy Bakirkiolgu... He was everyone's favourite though right??

    6. What do you consider to be your greatest achievement in CM01/02

I took Hull City from Division 3 to European Domination. Enjoyed that run.

But I also had an online game with a friend that lasted about 20 seasons.
Starting in the lower French Divisions and taking in multiple countries. Good Times.

    7. If you were an animal, which one would describe you best ?

A fox ... Comes alive at night.
Thinking outside the box. Annoying. You know the sort of fox i'm describing.

    8. On an average week, how much time do you invest in CM01/02 ?

On my CM Career maybe an hour or two.

On my CM Stories... Probably about 6-10 hours including the write ups....

Check out my latest - Be The Chairman. - http://www.champman0102.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6098

Keep an eye out for AYTN Series 6 Coming later in 2015.

    9. What does your wife think of you playing a 13 year old football game ?

When I was playing online, in that 20 season game, she used to get a bit annoyed as the lad I was playing with often did a lot of indepth scouting of his own.
So the game could take a while and in the peak of that we'd be doing 5 hours a night 5 nights a week.

But generally, I keep it to times when she is either in bed or out. So my concentration isn't affected!

    10. What other computer/console games do you play ?

I've got an Xbox 360 and play FIFA 14 and GTA 5. Two brilliant games.

    11. What annoys you most about CM01/02 ?

Applying for a job you should get and seeing it go to Joe Bloggs.

    12. What is your favourite moment in real life football ?

I think it could be Beckham's freekick V Greece to send us to the World Cup.
Or the 5-1 beating of Germany. I had a great night that ended in a chunder run...

    13. If you were Sepp Blatter, what rule would you change to make football more interesting ?

More interesting - tough one. But to change the game for the better, I would clamp down on diving.
    Fucking Hate divers!

    14. How good a player were you in real life ? What position did you play ?

    Ed Watson - Striker

    Acceleration 15
    Aggression 5
    Agility 15
    Anticipation 15
    Balance 10
    Bravery 3
    Creativity 5
    Crossing 2
    Decisions 2
    Determination 3
    Dribbling 10
    Finishing 20
    Flair 3
    Handling 1
    Heading 1
    Influence 20
    Jumping 1
    Long Shots 8
    Marking 1
    Off the Ball 20
    Pace 20
    Passing 20
    Positioning 5
    Reflexes 1
    Set Pieces 5
    Stamina 8
    Strength 5
    Tackling 1
    Teamwork 10
    Technique 10
    Work Rate 10

Picture Michael Owen in his Prime...
That was when I was 10. A bad ankle injury ruined any chance of progression.
And by 11 I was on the scrap heap.

So a striker in the early days.
And now I play 6 a side when I get chance, but a knee injury has set that back over the last 2 years.

Now I have bulked up. So no pace but much stronger.

    15. What other sports do you follow ?

Boxing is probably my 2nd favourite Sport after footy.
Looking forward to the Mayweather Pacman Fight but wish it was a few years ago just for my own sake.
Before a wife and child, me and the lads wud drink all night and stay awake for the big fights at 4am.

Now I will set my alarm for the big ones, or watch them repeated the next morning without knowing the result for the not so big ones at 4am.

    16. If you won the Lottery ( say 4,000,000) what is the first thing you would buy ?

I was thinking a Ferrari... But now i'm thinking Mayweather Pacquiao Tickets and flight there!

    17. What 4 people from history would you most like to meet ?

Jesus - to prove him wrong.
My Grandad - heard some right stories about him.
Albert Einstein. I'd tell him all about the LHC at CERN.
    And Marty Mcfly. 1955.

    18. What keeps you awake at night ?

Not a lot. Usually go to bed late so i'm shattered!
Although if i'm into a good CM career, I can be thinking about my squad and transfer targets.

    19. What was the last song played on your iPod (both the one you were going so say to sound cool and the one it really was) ?

It was on the Arctic Monkey's 2nd Album... Track 7.. Cant remember titles. Hold on...

Do me a Favour - what a track.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_-JPegrOK8

    20. Who would you like to be interviewed next ?

Tough one - Some great names missing. I'll go Bobmem..
He's been involved in the past few story's i've done and yet I don't know how his great mind works....

Completely agree with this, the El Clasico the other week was just a contest of who could dive the most theatrically. Embarrassing.

I lived in Sheffield when I was at uni. Must have come right past your gaff when on the supertram heading for Meadowhell where I worked!

I do Champ Man Stories and the participants pay me money to make them do better in the story.
    AYTN5 cost me a fortune...

Kennedy Bakirkiolgu... He was everyone's favourite though right??
Definitely on my list, although I think it's spelt Bakircioglu, but I've been wrong before!

On my CM Stories... Probably about 6-10 hours including the write ups....
I have to say AYTN is one of my favourite things on the forum. The effort you put in is incredible. Having said that I think I'll be watching but not participating in AYTN6, time to let someone else have a go!

I think it could be Beckham's freekick V Greece to send us to the World Cup.
Or the 5-1 beating of Germany. I had a great night that ended in a chunder run...
Pretty sure I had a chunder the night of DB's free kick vs Greece. I watched it in your local (sort of); the Walkabout in Sheffield, great venue for football matches!

More interesting - tough one. But to change the game for the better, I would clamp down on diving.
    Fucking Hate divers!
It does seem to be getting a bit ridiculous, who mentioned the el classico?!

Albert Einstein. I'd tell him all about the LHC at CERN.
    Great idea!

Top stuff Wato, and thanks for the nomination. PM sent!!

Definitely Bakircioglu. Typed it up in the player search enough times to be sure

Nice interview, some funny comments in there and Jesus's reply

Divers are definitely a disgrace, more than ever this season along with the standards of refereeing.

    1. Where do you live ? (Town and Country)
Peterborough, UK. Born and bred. The only other place I've lived was 4 years in Sheffield when at university.

    2. What do you do for a living ?
I work for the local water company on projects designing and constructing new water and sewage treatment assets. I used to do the actual design engineering but these days I'm more of a project manager.

    3. What football teams do you support ?
Ipswich Town. My dad is from there and first took me when I was about 9. As I'm born in Peterborough strictly speaking I'm a glory hunter!
I have a soft spot for Posh and go every now and then. I was (unfortunately) sat in the home end when they beat us 7-1 a few seasons back
I dislike Norwich (for obvious reasons) and Man Utd. I went to a fairly rough secondary school and it wasn't much fun supporting a team who got beat by Man U by a Premier League record score. I've hated them ever since! If memory serves me correctly that game was on my 14th birthday.

    4. Can you remember the first team that you managed in CM01/02 ? How did you get on ?
It would have been Ipswich. I think I used the default 5-3-2 (3 defenders, 2 wing back, 3 in the middle and 2 up top). It went pretty well for the first season but my lack of tactical knowledge and inability to buy decent players ended that save real soon after that!

    5. Who is your all time favourite CM01/02 player (any update or patch) and favourite in real life ?
Tough one. There's a load from the ODB that spring to mind. Mike Duff is up there, Kennedy Bacirkioglu, Maxim Tsigalko, Joao Paiva, however my favourite has to be Eldar Hadzimehmedovic. A ridiculous name, ridiculous nationality (I think he was Norwegian/Bosnian or something) and ridiculously good! I originally found him by typing my own real name into player search...

In real life: Super Matty Holland. Club Captain during the promotion to the Premier League; the 5th place finish the following season and the subsequent European campaign. Played 250 consecutive games for Town. Still looks about 12 when you see him on the telly!

    6. What do you consider to be your greatest achievement in CM01/02
My uni housemate and I had a long running network game. We started as Arsenal (me) and Liverpool (him) and stayed as them throughout. We knew nothing about wibwob, super players or even which were the important good attributes, we were just playing like when you first sat down with the game (I think we were on 3.9.60). We managed about 18 seasons before he eventually got sacked. We never won the Champions League and scrapped with Man U for the league title every season. I remember Michael Owen retiring and thinking maybe we should concentrate on our studies...

    7. If you were an animal, which one would describe you best ?
Something brilliantly intelligent but incredibly lazy! A sunbathing dolphin?

    8. On an average week, how much time do you invest in CM01/02 ?
I have periods when I play quite a bit, like 3 or 4 sessions of 3+ hours, but at the moment not so much. I'm on the forum daily though

    9. What does your wife/girlfriend/partner think of you playing a 13 year old football game ?
She calls it 'pretending to be a football manager' which is supposed to be derogatory, but actually very accurate! She wishes I'd do something more useful, but I'm too lazy!

    10. What other computer/console games do you play ?
The last console I owned was a Gamecube (although I still have it)
Totally addicted right now to Football Chairman on my phone! Have played about 65 seasons.
The only other game I really play is one I'm testing for my friend. It's a multiplayer version of Gravity Wars played on Android devices. I think it has real potential, but development is slow. We've been alpha testing for 9 months now! Unfortunately he doesn't want screenshots in the public domain.
If you want to check out his previous work go to the Google play store and download Finger Shepherd (there's a free version).

    11. What annoys you most about CM01/02 ?
Getting super keepered I think. Always seems to happen in the most important games.
'feels the club needs more squad depth' is irritating, but not something that I see so often now.

    12. What is your favourite moment in real life football ?
Another one with loads of options! DB's free kick vs Greece, winning the play-off final in 2000, Liverpool in Istanbul are all good ones, but I'm picking games I actually went to (couldn't get tickets for the play-offs ).
Runner up is Posh's comeback against Cardiff. 0-4 down at half time, people were walking out. It's a game of two halves! Finished 4-4!
The winner is our league cup semifinal 1st leg vs Arsenal in 2011. Portman Road was as full as I've ever seen it and the place was rocking. We won 1-0 too! Shame about Nicklaus Bendtner's goal in the second leg. It really looked like we might sneak it until then.

    13. If you were Sepp Blatter, what rule would you change to make football more interesting ?
Football is as flawed as it is beautiful. So I'd leave the rules and try to address the corruption. I mean seriously, a World Cup in Qatar?!

    14. How good a player were you in real life ? What position did you play ?
Never very skillful, but usually made up for it with tireless running! As I've got older I'm a much better defender, as I read the game well. My signature move is stepping up and intercepting a pass! Too scared to head the ball though

    15. What other sports do you follow ?
I follow F1 (I run a prediction league in the office) and will watch pretty much any sport (cricket, golf, rugby union, snooker among my favourites). We love Wimbledon and my Mrs once went to the men's final. She's never forgiven me for taking her and our eldest son to an air show the day Murray won it! We don't have sky sports though, else we'd never do anything and the kids would be taken into care!

    16. If you won the Lottery ( say 4,000,000) what is the first thing you would buy ?
I'd probably end up plunging money into keeping the world's only flying Vulcan bomber in the skies. Arguably from the peak of British aircraft design it's the aircraft in my avatar and simply has to be seen to be appreciated. 100 tonnes of flying metal and it sounds like it's tearing the sky in half!
This might well be the final year of its flying life, so get yourselves to an airshow before it's too late! http://www.vulcantothesky.org/appearances.html

    17. What 4 people from history would you most like to meet ?
Richard Feynman - one of the greatest physicists of the 20th century. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Feynman
Sir Bobby Robson - probably the best manager we ever had (it's him or that chap who won the World Cup) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Robson
Freddie Mercury - simply the best front man from any band ever (plus he'd be pretty entertaining) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freddie_Mercury
Amy Johnson - pioneering aviatrix who had a building named after her at Sheffield Uni (where I studied Aerospace Engineering). Also pretty hot for a 1930s chick http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amy_Johnson

    18. What keeps you awake at night ?
My 18 month old son, who thinks sleeping all night is for losers!

    19. What was the last song played on your iPod (both the one you were going so say to sound cool and the one it really was) ?
Not got one of these things, I'm much more advanced. My music is all stored on 120mm diameter plastic discs which are read by an ACTUAL laser beam!
The last thing I listened to was Queen's The Show Must Go On. To sound cool I'll say Bohemian Rhapsody

    20. Who would you like to be interviewed next ?
Network game legend and fellow Peterborian: Offside Trap!

Matty Holland, what a legend indeed. Never let us down in the national side and best of all never overawed by playing alongside Keane. A tough and fair man but a gent too. Probably could have played all higher level than he did, no offence to the Tractor Boys or Charlton. Probably be a regular at a top club in a 451 these days
